We had the privilege to stay at the Titanic hotel, Liverpool, on Friday evening and was surprisingly over whelmed. The service was excellent. Staff in the hotel and Stanley's Bar & Grill where at our becken call. Extremely helpful and full of knowledge of the building and its surroundings.
We where greeted at the front door by a member of the reception team who took our bags off us straight away. Provided with our room cards and details of breakfast times the next morning. Asked if we needed a wake up call or papers brought up to our rooms for when we wake. Reception were excellent!
One of the staff took our bags up to our room and was very helpful, pleasant and chatty. Such a lovely touch to be made to feel so welcomed! We couldn't believe the size of the room, it was absolutely stunning, we were only staying in a standard room too! Bathroom was very high spec with a giant rainfall shower. Our Bed was huge and very well dressed. We had complimentary tea/coffee making facilities and still and sparkling water. Very modern T.V and all the mod cons needed including a safe for our belongings.
We had a reservation at Stanley's Bar & Grill for 7pm so we arrived a little early to sample some of the cocktails they had on offer. Service again was excellent. All staff knew the answers too all of our questions regarding cocktails. They catered for our friend also who is pregnant and made up some 'mocktails' for her that wasn't even on the menu! Excellent service.
We where seated dot on 7pm and introduced to our waitress Amy. Amy helped us through the wine list and menu and was such a good laugh. After ordering our food we where given some really lovely fresh bread, which we have recently discovered is made in the local food and catering college by the students. Such a brilliant idea!
Our starters arrived shortly after and were ridiculously divine. We had a short break before our mains arrived, we didn't feel rushed at all, it was a very relaxed service so we where able to take our time and enjoy our surroundings.
Overall our experience in Stanley's Bar & Grill was excellent. We give them 10/10 for brilliant service and some of the most amazing food we've had. (Especially the lemon posset desert, WOW)
I would highly recommend staying here again to all of my friends and anyone who will listen!
Well done team Titanic Liverpool, you're excellent!!
