“Unreal Hotel, Food and Service. Perfect.”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

We had the privilege to stay at the Titanic hotel, Liverpool, on Friday evening and was surprisingly over whelmed. The service was excellent. Staff in the hotel and Stanley's Bar & Grill where at our becken call. Extremely helpful and full of knowledge of the building and its surroundings.

We where greeted at the front door by a member of the reception team who took our bags off us straight away. Provided with our room cards and details of breakfast times the next morning. Asked if we needed a wake up call or papers brought up to our rooms for when we wake. Reception were excellent!

One of the staff took our bags up to our room and was very helpful, pleasant and chatty. Such a lovely touch to be made to feel so welcomed! We couldn't believe the size of the room, it was absolutely stunning, we were only staying in a standard room too! Bathroom was very high spec with a giant rainfall shower. Our Bed was huge and very well dressed. We had complimentary tea/coffee making facilities and still and sparkling water. Very modern T.V and all the mod cons needed including a safe for our belongings.

We had a reservation at Stanley's Bar & Grill for 7pm so we arrived a little early to sample some of the cocktails they had on offer. Service again was excellent. All staff knew the answers too all of our questions regarding cocktails. They catered for our friend also who is pregnant and made up some 'mocktails' for her that wasn't even on the menu! Excellent service.

We where seated dot on 7pm and introduced to our waitress Amy. Amy helped us through the wine list and menu and was such a good laugh. After ordering our food we where given some really lovely fresh bread, which we have recently discovered is made in the local food and catering college by the students. Such a brilliant idea!

Our starters arrived shortly after and were ridiculously divine. We had a short break before our mains arrived, we didn't feel rushed at all, it was a very relaxed service so we where able to take our time and enjoy our surroundings.

Overall our experience in Stanley's Bar & Grill was excellent. We give them 10/10 for brilliant service and some of the most amazing food we've had. (Especially the lemon posset desert, WOW)

I would highly recommend staying here again to all of my friends and anyone who will listen!

Well done team Titanic Liverpool, you're excellent!!

Thank you so much for your great review, i will pass on your fantastic feedback to the team. They have all worked extremely hard to deliver the 5 star service our guests expect so it is great to know that we are achieving that.

We look forwarded to welcoming you back to the hotel and Stanley's Bar & Grill soon.

Was lucky enough to stay overnight in the hotel and get a preview with a friend who is at a conference there prior to the official launch. Beautiful design throughout, comfortable beds and stunning bathrooms. The breakfast was amazing with beautiful ingredients and everything from porridge to pastries, fresh fruit salad of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and lychees to devilled kidneys and a traditional cooked breakfast. The attitude of staff in dealing with snagging (we were the first people to use the room!) was friendly and helpful. If they keep this up, once the spa opens later in the summer, this will be one of the most popular luxury hotels in one of the finest UK destinations for a mini-break. It is well worth the slight walk - or very quick and cheap taxi ride - from the city centre.

Room Tip: We had a room at the back which was quiet and had a view of the water.

Titanic Hotel Liverpool is located in the historic Stanley Dock, restoring one of the city's most historic and iconic buildings. The hotel has incredible room sizes, service and style. The extensive lobby area is home to the the Rum Bar where we believe, a cocktail menu that matches your mood and hour of the day is essential. Then there is the Rum, with over 60 Rums available some exclusive to the hotel! You can also dine in the lobby from the Rum Bar menu or indulge in afternoon tea. The lobby also boasts a VIP and Business lounge. Stanley's Bar and Grill showcases the dramatic theatre kitchen, open to allow you to watch a team loving preparing your food. However this is not pretentious dining - Stanley's is a place where you and your friends, family, colleagues or simply your newspaper can all get together and feel at home. Kick off your shoes, throw off your jacket, loosen your tie and sit back. Down stairs at the Titanic Hotel amid the red brick arches and beautiful cool stone floors, more Roman bath than city spa, will lay the warm waters of the Hydro pool. The mood and atmosphere will be simply delightful. The Spa at the Titanic Hotel will offer an experience rather than a facility. Yes we have a thermal suite with sauna, steam room and water features, a relaxation area and treatment rooms for those all-important beauty regimes, but this is an experience, an intimate experience and one you will want to return to over and over again. Hotel residents can enjoy complimentary access to our Gym with state of the art fitness equipment. Meetings, conferences and Events at the Rum Warehouse are about three things - flexibility, state of the art facilities and never losing sight of the bigger picture.
