Stayed here over Christmas for our works party and the place is just decadent from head to toe.. The lobby is fabulous with its real fire and inviting seating, the rooms are gorgeous, expertly decorated, real luxury and the mini bar is unlike any other I have experienced and I stay in hotels a lot...
The only downside would be the parking as it is another £15 for a ridiculous 22 hours (why not 24 hours?!?!!) and as the hotel is out of town, I see no reason why the parking is so expensive, it's not as if it is a stones throw from the action?
That said it would not put me off coming here again, certainly not... Infact I can't wait to book in again soon!!! Book it if you are planning a romantic weekend, a girlie holiday or even a sightseeing trip to Liverpool, the staff were all lovely and the hotel itself is a sight to behold.
Would definately recommend!

Very nice hotel. Clean and rooms set out very nicely. Comfy beds too. Only moan is that when booking out the member of staff just took the room card from us and said...'thats fine' and that was it! No interest in if our stay was a good one or if everything was alright....which it wasnt as the bathroom door was broken and didnt shut and lightbulb over the bath had blown. Quite dissappointed with her lack of interest. :( but it wouldnt stop us from staying there again :)

Stayed one night and loved every minute if it.
We were welcomed by matt the manager who is lovely and genuinely cared for his guests, he was always around helping and chatting.
The reception team were extremely warm, welcoming and efficient. Dinner was superb, service very slick attentive but unobtrusive, we had our 18 month old boy and the all the staff were fussing over him which was very welcoming. A great touch that when we came for breakfast in the morning, they had the high chair out ready at the same table we had dinner the night before. Small touch but meant a lot considering how many people would have staying in the hotel.
Will defo return, this hotel is extremely stylish, and luxurious.

-very comfortable with everything you need catered for
-fabulous bathroom (enourmous bath and good shower)
-helfpul staff
-lovely breakfasts

It has a rather masculine feel to the hotel as the decor is rather 'dark' in fact, much of the decor is black! I guess that is rather cool now but it's the sort of decor that would date quickly. The communication style used for notices / marketing literature I found rather irritating - trying to be friendly and cool but actually it's rather unnecessary . But anyway, all that doesn't matter really, I'm being picky. It's a good hotel, I got a good rate, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend a visit.

Located near to the Royal Liver buildings, this hotel offers a boutique feel to a chain of hotels. Staff were friendly in that wonderful scouse way and the rooms are really comfortable. The whole decor is dark offering a mystique and seductive ambience not really the hotel you take kids too! We stayed in the Toffee suite for our last nights in the UK before emigrating to Australia and we had a great time. The room was lovely, better than the suite next door, and the bathroom was excellent, with free toiletries to boot. Breakfast can be a bit chaotic if you opt to have a continental as you have to be prepared for greedy other guests but cooked breakfast was very tasty and quick - you can see into the kitchen and it appears well organised. The bar is great for a cocktail night cap and the location although a bit of a walk from the CBD offers a quieter side to the dock area and a nice view of the waterfront.

Room Tip: Go for the Toffee Suite, avoid the Liverpool FC themed suite!

This hotel is well positioned for exploring Liverpool waterfront. Our de-luxe room was spacious and comfortable and crammed with all the extras you would expect from this quality chain. We stayed 3 nights and found the housekeeping standards to be very good but did not appreciate the 8.45am knock on the door each morning to see if we were in.
Lots of hot water and a great deep bath but the positioning of the WC at the far end of the shower room was rather strange!
A minor point was that breakfast was a little disappointing, the menu read well but everything arrived luke warm. Service was pleasant but plates were not cleared on any of the mornings nor were cappucino cups cleared, even when second orders were delivered.
Reception staff were all very friendly and helpful and we would have no hesitation in returning or recommending this hotel

Loved my stay at the Malmaison, staff were really friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was delicious and our room was amazing! The bathroom was excellent with a massive bath and powerful shower. Location is perfectly set in the center of town, close to shops and restaurants (Liverpool One is just a short walk down the road.)

Can't wait to stay again soon!!! :)
