I really wanted to like this place, but it fell short in some ways. Others it was very good. When we were there (July 2013), they were still having a/c problems after having had a fire some months before. We had electrical and a/c problems in our room. The Beatles-themed (as is nearly everything in Liverpool) decor is wonderful. Breakfast was really good, service up to scratch. Good to do once, wouldn't go back.

The hotel is just a beautiful hotel, perfect if you are visiting liverpool (im actualy from the area, but if you were to visit the location is perfect)
Abit of noise in the evening but that is to be expected.
We did not get a chance to eat in the restaurant but i have heard great things
A solid 4 stars

Stayed with my wife and 2yr old for a Saturday night in a deluxe double room.

Fantastic hotel, great decor and Beatles artwork, really nice room and helpful staff.

Downside for us was the noise from Cavern St with all the stag and hen do's enjoying themselves. The music went on until 4am so disturbed us quite a bit, it was really loud. Reminded me of stags do's staying in a noisy party street hostel for €20 a night. This night cost us £160!

Not the hotels fault obviously but did take the shine off the stay.

Would go back but I would definitely ask for a quiet room next time.

We stayed from 20th-22nd March 2014 and it did not disappoint. I took my partner as he is a massive Beatles fan and when we arrived were very excited. After checking in and going to our room, we noticed that there was a persistent banging and after calling reception, were told that it was the fan from the kitchens and it would turn off at 10pm that night. I asked to be moved and after an hour someone took our bags and we were moved to a lovely room twice the size so were very happy.

The cocktail bar is fantastic and has a very large selection of Beatles inspired drinks. We paid extra for Breakfast which was great and the staff there were lovely.

The only thing I would say was that the receptionist we had on arrival wasn't very friendly and seemed like we were inconveniencing her. But saying that- all the other members of staff were extremely helpful, especially on the door and always made an effort to chat and ask if we needed any help.

All in all a very good experience.

Stayed last week and have to say it was a brilliant hotel. All the staff were excellent, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is gorgeous, clean and the decor is lovely, breakfast was excellent. Special thanks to the night staff a guy called Ian, he was lovely, I would definitely stay here again with no hesitation

Had a single nights stay early March both myself and partner loved it. The staff were so friendly couldn't do enough for us. Will definately be returning to this lovely Hotel. We loved the Beatles memorabilia and photo's, with Mathew St and the Cavern just round the corner.

This was so wonderful. Big comfortable room for my daughter, incredible trappings and decorations and of course, music, and literally next door to the cavern club and the beatles quarter. Service by waitresses was awful, the only bad spot. Receptionists perfect, one of my favorite stays ever. The elevator views were also fun!

Room Tip: higher up ya go, the longer you get to spend on the elevator with its great spiral views.
