Situated right beside Mathew St, you could not be closer to the Cavern. Fairly plush hotel. Really nice rooms. We ended up with a John Lennon room, which was excellent. If it was a Yoko Ono one you would not see me for dust :) We took a deluxe room, and all was fine, apart from missing bathrobes, but no big deal. Tea and coffee stuff in the room, good wi-fi, pretty good entertainment system as well. Beatles stuff all over the place.
The windows could not be opened which was odd.
Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Up to four bouncers on the door at night, which suggests the area can be a bit mental at night, just like any other city centre really. No real complaints.
Would just avoid the adjoining restaurant Blakes, which is a colossal rip-off.

Room Tip: Get a room at the back as I heard it can be quite noisy at the front at night.

Lovely hotel. Lovely meal in Blakes served by a friendly attentive waitress called Stephanie.
Excellent location for both tourist attractions and shopping.
Cavern Club just around the corner for excellent live music and atmosphere.
We have been to this hotel several times and had a delightful stay each time.

What a great hotel and great staff. Beatles photos and memorably all around the hotel, restaurant and bars. The room was excellent and well equipped. The staff was so nice and always asking if your stay was ok or did you need anything. The English Breakfast was Excellentia, fresh fruit, English sausage, tomatoes cooked perfect, ham and eggs. All was good as well as the staff. Just around the corner to TheCavern Club and Mathew St. I was not disappointed at all. Recommend The Hard a Days Night Hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: Room 306 facing the street was my room, windows open and temp great.

We stayed at this hotel to be in the centre of town to be near to all main attractions. Though Liverpool is very easy to get around by walking, bus or taxi.
The hotel felt very comfortable as soon as we entered. The concierge helped us from the taxi into the hotel with our luggage with smiles and greetings. He later asked us on leaving the hotel where we were headed and was very helpful with suggestions and directions.
Check-in was seam-free. Very pleasant staff and eager to help. We had booked three rooms for our party, one of which was on the small size. We had a couple of large issues with the other two rooms which were sorted without delay and to complete satisfaction. Everyone slept well but our room facing to the rear of the hotel was much quieter than the two facing the street, still not unduly disturbing.
We did not eat at the hotel but could see from other guest orders in the bar that all looked well presented and inviting!
The bar atmosphere is cosy. The Beatles memorabilia all around was quite discreet but enjoyable.
It sometimes takes a while to be waited on but generally service was very good, a couple of times exemplary.
A little on the costly side but this reflects on the facilities and position. A central hotel which we would not hesitate to stay at again.

Room Tip: High floor looking to the rear.

I booked my husband and I in the Hard Days Night Hotel for one night with the 'All you need is love package' as it was for his birthday. Having never visited Liverpool before the hotel is in the perfect location and very easy to find, it is just from Liverpool One near the Cavern Quarter and about 5 minutes walk to the Albert Dock so great for shopping, sight seeing and close to bars and restaurants.

We got a luxury double room for the night, the room was very spacious and nicely equipped with all the things you would expect from a boutique hotel - tea and coffee facilities, complementary water, big double bed, wifi, tv facilities and a luxury bathroom. The hotel itself is beautifully, decorated with Beatles memorabilia, inviting reception area and lovely bar area to sit and have a drink.

We will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Room Tip: You can pay extra for a room with a balcony.

The room was lovely, the breakfast fantastic and the staff really helpful! We booked two rooms for four of us and they were clean and spacious, it was all part of the magical mystery package which included a trip on the magical mystery tour bus, tickets to the Beatles experience, passes for the Cavern Club and free t-shirts!

All in all a fantastic experience and highly recommended

Nice hotel! Plenty of Beatles' memorabilia, close to the Cavern Club (right around the corner), and convenient walk to mall and Albert Dock area. Some staff needed more training, but were friendly. Small room but clean and neat.
