Just returned from a five day trip to Nottingham and from Lime Street Train Station we headed straight to Johnny English as we were starving hungry and we know from many visits to here that they serve the best fish and chips in Liverpool.
It's a great chippy,white tiled walls,bench seating,a cool looking serving counter,a really good chippy.
We were here on a Monday afternoon, we ordered fish, chips and mushy peas ,after a short wait our order was ready, we just tucked in and enjoyed our chippy meal.
The fish was huge,a delicious batter and a beautiful piece of cod, chips were awesome as were the peas,it was just what we needed to set us up for the day ahead as we planned to visit some of our favourite real ale pubs in and around the city centre.
We really enjoyed our chippy meal here and as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
Johnny English is easy to locate on Bold Street.
A great chippy, well worth checking out if your in the area.
