Husband had 3 courses, king prawns, followed by lamb rump, then cointreau and orange cheesecake. I had rib eye steak, also with cheesecake for dessert. Both main courses came with good portion sizes of vegetable, we also shared a bottle of wine - all for just over £55! We will dine there again

My wife and I recently enjoyed a two night stay in Liverpool with friends and found Bistro Pierre quite by chance. I am certainly glad that we did. We took advantage of a special price meal deal which entitled us to choose two courses from the a la carte menu and a bottle of house wine each, yes each, for £15.95!!
We made a reservation at lunchtime for 8pm that evening. Not surprisingly, given the deal, the restaurant was full to bursting which made for a great atmosphere and our young waitress coped very well. The steaks (I had the ribeye which was very tasty and perfectly cooked) were subject to a small surcharge, which, to be honest is very fair and the house red was very drinkable.
The meal was excellent both in terms of value and quality of the food and I would certainly dine here again. Well done Bistro Pierre! Keep it up.

We visited on a Monday lunchtime. Enjoyed the mussels and a goat cheese starter. Mains were a potato & spinach gratin and breton chicken in tarragon sauce. Desert was a blackcurrent & rasberry mousse. All were sublime. A tasty pinot grigiot washed it all down. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Would definitely go back. On a downside, tables were quite close together so service & space & heat & noise could be an issue if full.
Restaurant is at top of a steep flight of stairs- not really suitable if you can't climb or will be having a lot to drink! Not a lot of space at top for push chairs. Toilets were small but clean with an interesting wallpaper & audible learn French commentary.
