“Nice food, good atmosphere”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

Ate here last Saturday night, as part of a party of 6 people. The restaurant was very busy, but had a great atmosphere . The food was really tasty and good value. The only complaint was that it was so dark in the restaurant that we struggled to read the menus. I'm all for atmospheric lighting but without the help of a keyring torch we would not have been able to see the menus at all.

The staff were friendly, and got shown straight to seats even though half am hour early, tapas was great perhaps a little on the small side but still great flavours and cooked well, would recommend this place to friends

“Disappointing”
Reviewed 28 June 2014 via mobile

Met friends for dinner here. I hadn't been before and hadn't heard any opinions so was ready for anything. There was a really nice atmosphere even tho it was early evening. The lighting is very subdued so don't dine if you don't like the dark. We were seated immediately as we arrived and the service is excellent very professional and very friendly. The menu looks amazing and mouth watering but sadly doesn't quite deliver. It's very hit and miss. We were a party of 5 and I would say you need to order a lot of plates as portions are very small!! The garlic bread was an overcooked sliced three slices of baguette with some herbs tossed on top not very garlicky at all Christopher Lee wouldn't be troubled. I had the meatballs in a mustard sauce which was very tasty and very small and the fruitas selection which was squid prawn mussels and octopus. It was beautifully presented but soo overcooked. It seemed like it had just sat under a heat lamp for hours. We ordered 3 bottles of wine and our bill was in excess of £150 and I for one was still starving! Brilliant service by enthusiastic, polite and knowledgeable servers but the food and value didn't cut it.
