It's my second visit here and I love the place the staff bend over backwards to help you. It's within walking distance of all facilities. I will be going back beds are super comfortable and the rooms are clean, tidy and very modern. With it being a central location you can here some of the music from the club's but It didn't bother me and my freinds either time.

When entering the hotel room it smelt like sewage which was being masked by a foul smelling air freshener. The 3 bedded room was very VERY poor for the price; I have stayed in 3 bedroom apartments that were cheaper and nicer than what we received. The biggest problem was that the room was unbearably hot -even though the radiators where switched off! There were two industrial sized fans in the room so we believe this is obviously an ongoing problem as it is currently winter so no need for fans! We called down to reception to tell them of the problem but got told to wait until the morning. We had to get ready for our night out but went out feeling hot and sweaty; my friend had to visit a pharmacy to get headache tablets as the heat had made him feel ill. Liverpool was a great night but getting back to the hotel was not. We then had to walk back into our sauna, the window did open but to a second window which did not so we were stuck in the furnace. We got very little sleep due to the heat and the noise coming from the fans. We finally got up around 10am and went to get a quick shower – something we could not do due to there only being one large towel between three people – a basic requirement of a hotel wouldn’t you agree? We decided just to go as we had all had enough when we got to the reception we were ‘greeted’ by a lady that had obviously had a message passed on from the night staff about our complaint, instead of apologising she denied there had been any problem with the room and that the night had been hot – it was 10 degrees in March! All we wanted was a sorry about the issue but this seemed far too hard to be delivered. The lady on reception told us that we would have to speak to management on Monday because she ‘only worked there’?! She then started to say we had been noisy in the room at 7am – we weren’t even awake at this time, it was not nice having lies made up about us we felt threatened and upset over the allegation. After leaving the building my friend went back into to collect left luggage the manager was on the phone and my friend was put on the line, expecting an apology my friend told her of the issue – the manager put the phone down!!! – exceptionally bad customer service! When leaving the hotel another four gentlemen were checking out and they said that there stay had also been bad and extremely noisy. I will not be staying here again and would urge you all not to do the same you will be very disappointed.

We cannot fault this hotel at all. We have stayed in rooms 1, 4, 5 and 6. The staff have even remembered our names and faces.

The small double is exactly what is says a small double, but it's got a shower, toilet and a bed - can't complain.

Normal size rooms have a mini fridge which has saved us on hungover mornings.

Only ever had 1 problem, where after a night out a fuse had gone in our room after a night out but the man on reception was right up to sort it.

All in all an amazing hotel with amazing staff.

Me and my husband stayed in a small double room and it was small, the size wasn't a problem as this was all that was available. We have stayed in a standard double previously which was lovely however the small room which was number 1 on the 2nd floor, right next to the cleaners utility room and lift was very noisy. The bathroom window latch was broken, completely snapped off which meant the window stayed open and the bathroom was freezing, also when we arrived we had to clean the sink as it looked like someone had poured tea down it and not rinsed it. In the morning it was that noisy that it felt like the cleaners were in the room with us! After checking in we went out for the evening, the lady on checkin was very friendly however when we arrived back at about 1:30 am there was a young lad behind the desk chatting to a couple of hiis mates, they were swearing a bit and to be honest I felt quite uneasy walking past them, he didn't even acknowledge us walking in, we could have been anyone. It was such a shame as the last time we stayed here we had a lovely experience, but I'm afraid we won't bother again.

My review is pretty much the same as others; great location, great price, minibar very cheap, noise til about 4am-but what do you expect with City centre hotel?! However the most stand-out thing about this hotel is the staff. We stayed there for two nights and every single person on the reception desk was amazing. They really couldn't do enough for us, gave us directions, recommendations for food/drink. Also, our flight wasn't until late on the Monday evening so they not only let us leave our luggage, but let us check out late as it was midweek and room wasn't going to be used. Also the bathroom was amazing-two sinks, huge mirror (great for two girls getting ready!), and power shower. The lift/elevator is one of those big ones you have to pull the doors closed-often seen on the continent, so that was a little tricky to get used to (especially after a few drinks), but taking the stairs was a bit of a maze. Overall a great place to stay and would recommend anyone to stay here that wants a central location. Just a note on Liverpool, beware of the cobbles!! Especially girls wearing heels, we were like baby giraffes walking up the road at night!!

We stayed here on a Saturday night the rooms are fine clean good size nothing to complain about. Mini bar very good prices. Staff very nice we were upgraded on arrival. The area is very convenient for city centre location.
I knew the reviews said noise was a issue but it really is very noises till 4am but I did know this before I booked this hotel. If your a light sleeper this hotel isn't for you but if your going to be out in the bars or you don't mind noise this is a great place to stay.
