Owner description: Football is one of the city's greatest passions. There are two big clubs in the city, but it's those playing in red who enjoy most of the attention. Liverpool FC opens its Anfield Stadium to visitors during the day when no games are scheduled. Led by enthusiastic guides, the museum and stadium tour gives sports fans behind-the-scenes access to one of the best-known soccer clubs in the world.

I have been to Anfield twice to watch a match and both have been excellent 5-0 against Birmingham and 4-3 against Swansea. The museum is brilliant too, the history of Liverpool is incredible and something that every club wishes it had.

It may not be as sophisticated as other clubs in its facilities, however it has the history and passion to make up from it. Tour was relaxed and friendly with 2 fantastic guides who were knowledgable and approachable. Takes an hour to complete the tour with more time to go round the museum at your own pace. Be careful where you leave your car! Any Liverpool fan should go!

Am a Liverpool fan so this review may be a bit biased. Went to the stadium to show my wife and daughter the scene of many a triumph. The stadium tour is wonderful and takes you through the entire history of the team and how it became the powerhouse.

Been here a few times (not enough though!!). Suppose you've got to be a Liverpool fan to really appreciate the place and what goes on here. Done the tour of the stadium on one of my visits - steeped in history. Well and truly high up my must return destinations.
