Owner description: Football is one of the city's greatest passions. There are two big clubs in the city, but it's those playing in red who enjoy most of the attention. Liverpool FC opens its Anfield Stadium to visitors during the day when no games are scheduled. Led by enthusiastic guides, the museum and stadium tour gives sports fans behind-the-scenes access to one of the best-known soccer clubs in the world.

Managed to get hold of two tickets for the Champions League match against Spartak Moscow. Winning 7 - 0 was just the icing on the cake! Great atmosphere as always and looking forward to next visit already!!¬

7 - 0 win for Liverpool in the final group stage game. Fantastic occasion and brilliant atmosphere. My son won the trip and we enjoyed every moment.

I was invited to Anfield for the second time for hospitality by business friends: this time for the Champions League tie v Moscow Spartak. We were on the 5th floor restaurant in the spectacular new Main Stand. Anfield atmosphere is very special: the ground is in a working class area and the fans are hugely passionate about their club.
I’ve experienced loads of hospitality over the years but Anfield’s has to be one of the very best.
There are so many staff members- to welcome visitors and to serve drinks and food. This means that everyone is attended to at all times. The drinks are flowing and the food is lovely. Although I was a guest on this occasion, I also host a lot of tables. One of the toughest aspects of being a host is constantly keeping an eye open to make sure guests have drinks or are topped up. At Anfield this is taken care of. The staff are great: happy to share a laugh or two and also very attentive.
The surroundings of the restaurant, with its views over the pitch at one side and the city on the other are spectacular.
Superb hospitality in a superb stadium. Unconditionally recommended.

Anfield is one of the great football stadiums but even this iconic arena has it's problems. Both the Main stand and Upper Anfield stand have a lot of steps. Whilst there is a lift for disabled customers in the Main Stand there isn't in the Anfield Road so you have to climb to reach the seating area. In the Main Stand the problem comes inside the seating bowl. The entrance to the seats is at about Row30 so you could have a lot of steps to go down to reach your seat. Anfield is well worth a visit for any football fan but if you struggle with stairs it is something to consider.
