“cheap no-thrills - value for money”
Reviewed 1 July 2012

The rooms are small but clean, the staff helpful and nice. I think for what you pay for 10 outside the centre of London, it is value for money. Olympia overground station just across the road. Shepards Bush is a good 10 minutes walk but doable.

Decent room and breakfast, very central with overground station around the corner, bus stop just across the street and Sheperd's bush subway 10 minutes walk away. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially one woman was very nice to answer all the many questions we had about the area and London in general. Cleaning of the room and new towels every day. Only problem was that the hotel had non smoking rooms, but several times other visitors ignored that rule and our room smelled like cigarettes. Not nice! Over all very satisfied.

Satisfied with the quality / price ratio. Hotel very clean (shower, sink, toilets, floors ...). Beautiful buffet for breakfast: nothing is missing. The staff is very sympahique. Very good home. We recommend it and would come back with pleasure. Very useful with public transports : buses C1, 9 or 10, underground very near.

Fantastic area.Clean and friendly. If you get a bus pass on your Oyster card, you can go just about everywhere by bus (direct buses to Camden, Portobello Road, Leicester Sq, Kew Gardens, and Liverpool St. and Baker Street if you get a bus to Stanstead)

Room Tip: Just ring and ask them for advice

I've just come back after a 4-days stay at this hotel, and I am very pleased.
Very affordable room tariffs, our room size was good (2 adults and 2 chidlern in a Executive Quad Lux.).
Breakfast was continental, simple - but had all you need to start off on a good days sightseeing.
Everything was clean, nice and neat.

Holland Road can be a bit noisy, seems like a usual route for Emergency Units, so remember your earplugs if you open the windows at night. We were lucky enough to get a room on the garden side, so the noise did not bother us much.

Hotel service is good and staff was very friendly and helpful!

To all who complain about the room size; (wake up, this is London!), the location, the noise or anything; you always get what you pay for! This is, in my opinion, a very affordable hotel. You get a clean room and bed, breakfast included, few minutes away from many bus stops or the Underground.
Also to take into account, is that Holland Park is only a short walk away, with great opportunities and activities for those with younger children.

When I go back to London, I will definately concider this hotel again.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 24. The scenery was not much to talk about, but allowed us to keep the window open...
