A mixed experience. The bar area is a nice feature when meeting friends. The lamb chops starter were great. The main courses were unusual eg lamb with beetroot, but the veg all seemed to taste the same and were far too tomato-based. They also didn't seem very flexible eg we couldnt have sag gosht without the normal mushrooms. Overall the food wasnt that hot either but portions were large. The three cheapest wines on the menu were not available and under pressure they gave us £2 off a more expensive bottle. In fact my wife described the place as 'money grabbing' eg seemed reluctant to serve tap water. As per earlier reviews it was also a bit dead for a Saturday night. Plus I think £95 per couple with the group having a few glasses of Prosecco, one bottle of wine and 6 or 7 Cobras was very pricey. There must be better places for Value for Money around the area.

Nice cosy venue in a square with outside covered area for when the weather warms up. Very attentive service without being too intrusive. Was half full of happy customers but lacked atmosphere so conversations were a bit hushed. Food was delicious especially the duck samosas; served in good time and piping hot. Prices were above average but worth it. Lovely romantic evening out

On a Saturday night no more than 3 tables of about 20 were occupied at any one time. This was a little surprising as the food was very good, although maybe a little pricey. The service was efficient and pleasant enough, although obviously the staff were hardly stretched. The location is excellent (in Battersea context) and the restaurant room is good enough. So why so few locals? We saw no evidence of a roaring takeaway trade either. Maybe they went through a bad patch and the locals deserted them. One does feel however that if the management could by some marketing/pricing initiative get people back in, there might be a much needed momentum to turn this round. If we are representative of their potential market, they do have a big problem, but one which can be overcome. We would not go back here now simply on the basis that we do not enjoy eating in an empty restaurant, especially on a Saturday night. For the same reason we have to warn others if they feel similarly. If however we knew that the place would be populated with a few more fellow diners, we would be happy to return for the food, even at the prices we paid, and recommend others to do so. Just a thought.

Excellent Indian restaurant, spacious modern decor in a nooky part of Battersea. All the classic dishes were served with great flavour and not too much spicy heat. Their breads were superb and their stuffed Peshwari naan was the best I have ever had.

In sunny weather you can sit outside in the square which is really pleasant or inside is modern decor. Good choice of food on the menu. They also serve a good selection of wine and cocktails. Not cheap, but not overpriced. Would definitely recommend for good quality Indian food.
