We walked from our hotel seeking food/drink and had OK overpriced food/excellent ale and I will do it again the first night if near Regent's Park BUT whenever I want better food/ambience I will catch the tube to Churchill or Black Friar or Three Crowns or-if early enough to beat the crowded quaffing of the after work young lions/lionesses..unless I am seeking them :) -Princess Louise

There is a limited choice of food on the main menu. There was a good choice on the tapas menu but it was expensive for what it was. The food quality was average at best. Service was good. So overall a fairly bland experience and nothing worth returning for.

Do not trust the reviews you may read in travel guides. This gastropub is to be avoided. It does not deserve a first look. Disastrous meal: 7,5 english pounds for 3 bay scallops! A Rib Eye cooked well done instead of medium, a mistake in one ordered dish. There are so many other nice pubs to chose from like "the Princesse Louise" that this one is to be forgotten!

Loved it. Best little bar of the trip for an afternoon beer. Great service and nice owner/bartender who talked to us for a while

This was an odd experience. Close to hotel and tired so decided to try it. Stopped by early and asked if needed reservations for upstairs dining room and was told no problem because they weren't busy and to come back about 6;30pm (early dinner) We did but was then told only serving in the downstairs pub which was serving tapas and had a very noisy drinking crowd. While we were eating a number of people were shown to the upstairs dining room? My friend doesn't drink and ordered non alcoholic beer which was on menu. Waitress was perplexed said they didn't really carry it. Ordered the pork chops and was told they only had one. (This was early remember). The one pork chop was good and the salmon salad also good and waitress very nice but I would only go here if I was a heavy drinking tapas eating person.
