“Good food, poor service and management”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

The food was as always good, with delicious dim sums and very well prepared Peking duck. However the whole experience was ruined by a group of 3 people on the table next to us engaged --all three of them-- into negotiations or fight over the phone, noisy, disturbing and overwhelming (clearly ther were even bothering each other as they have been walking around while talking in the phone). In spite of several hints, the management didn't consider necessary to remind them that it is a restaurant, not a meeting room. Pity as I used to like this place but will take it off my list from now on.

“Great Dim Sum (Very Expensive)”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

Last year I stopped at the Royal China and wasn't impressed however this was not the case with the Royal China Club. I had the RCC on the list to hit for dim sum and I wasn't disappointed. The Dim Sum was excellent. Spicy crab and lobster dumplings were extremely good, however haven eaten in Dim sum restaurants Dublin and New York € 98.00 for Dim Sum for 2 Adults and 2 x Young Children, include two beers is crazy. I really enjoyed it and the dim sum was excellent however far too expensive. As much as I enjoyed them I wouldn't be returning for this sort of value.

“good dim sum!”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

Went here for dim sum today. Haven't been for about 3 years.
The menu for dim sum is still good, and has a selection of specials.
Everything we ate was tasty. Even the gai lan was cooked to perfection, perfect crunch. None of the food was oily, everything tasted fresh.
Service today was really very good. I was impressed.
But my only reservation is that it was quite costly! But worth it for a special treat!

“Real Hong Kong Food in London”
Reviewed 8 June 2014 via mobile

A fine Chinese restaurant and not just a food hall like around Leicester Square! We enjoyed the Beijing dumplinhs, steamed cod fish, chicken Shezuang style and pepper crab. All dishes very fresh, spicy and just delicious! Great service with excellent advices! Even the wine list is outstanding for a Chinese Restaurant. We enjoyed the meal and can recommend this up-price restaurant.
