couldnt of asked for more while staying there the staff were helpful and friendly the rooms were clean and tidy and the bed was comfy. would recommend anyone to stay here. There was a bus outsidee the hotel or about a 10 15 minute walk to the tube which took you straight to the main shopping are oxford street etc. I left my car there the whole week which was a bonus. I did eat there once and the food was lovely. Couldnt of asked for a better hotel

An all day travel card £8 each gives good access to this hotel by underground or overground from St Pancreas (Connect Service) to Cricklewood or by bus 113 from Marble Arch which stops just outside the hotel. Yes there is a busy A road in front of the hotel but traffic lights allow gaps to cross ( or a bridge 100 yards along.
The hotel is well appointed good room size, large bed, very good ensuite with great shower. The breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choice. Ideal location for bus to central London direct to marble arch or get off at Finchley station for the underground.Would stay here again as even with the cost of travel the hotel is good value when compared to more central hotels.

Room Tip: rooms at the front of the hotel overlook busy main road so constant traffic noise in background, we...

Bus 113 outside the hotel will take you in the heart of Oxford street it also take you 8 mins to the underground finchley road but nearest underground is golden green which is 15 mins walk.

There is no nearest shops so i suggest you stock up but if you wanted a fizzy or snack i remember there was a vending machine there so have change.

Rooms was actually great and rates was quite decent, breakfast was lovely too good value for money.

Staff was great but on a Saturday there was a particular individual who was really friendly asking how was our day, very caring and also approached us to find out how was our stay and gave us advise in the best places not to miss in London. He has a lot of knowledge on how to get around London to take particular trains too.

I think he said he name was JAMES?! but apparently he said it was his first day and he was in his work trail?! which I did not believe because he customer service was really superb! Well done James!

I would highly recommend this hotel looking at the previous reviews it's like a hit or miss but for me it was a big hit and will be looking forward to my future stay.

Hotel is on a very busy street, rooms to a road are noisy. Heating is via air conditioning, so if you go for all day out, room will be cold. Only 1 spring mattress in double bed causes floating and may be awkward. Some mould in bathroom. Bathroom without heating = chilly pavement. Large Television, hairdryer and daily cleaning service. Breakfast typically english, but very tasty. Approx. 20 mins to Golders Green/Brent cross tube station, buses 50m away.

My room was cancelled without informing me even i had call to reconfirm my booking due to flight delay! So when i reached the hotel in the morning they told me that they have cancel my booking but still expect me to pay for the stay. The staff which helped to register my stay was not friendly and sound like its my total fault for being late.
They directed me to a smaller room which i have booked for the executive room for my boyfriend's birthday and mention that its a new hotel room where i have broken air conditioning for the 3 days stay.
The distance from the hotel to central was too far then expected where i have to travel around 30 mins to arrive to the central. Not only these but i got to have a 10 mins walk to get back to hotel at late night.

Fine for visiting London on coach tour, not sure about ease of access on tube. I was there with a group of school students. The only criticism I have is that some of the rooms were a bit smelly (sewage type smell).

Best Western's slogan 'The Price is Right', must refer to the price being right for the hotel management, certainly not for the poor customer….I was recently charged £5.30 for a double espresso in the Best Western Palm Hotel, Hendon, around the cover in a similar hotel the same coffee would have cost me £1.70. The price certainly isn't right for the customer, thats for sure!
