This hotel/apartment is pretty amazing! Nice, tidy and comfortable with lots of space. Bed is comfy and rooms are cleaned daily. Kitchen is great too! The reason why I gave this a four star is because we were with adult children (4 people in one apartment) and the bathroom has no door from our bedroom. The other room that we stayed on a separate date have glass doors (bathroom and toilet) and you can be seen also from the outside. This design is really great for couples.

Location is perfect and wifi is so so good! All in all, we had an awesome stay!

Room Tip: If you are in a group, choose apartment number 8 coz it has lots of space and there is a bathroom door.

Dear milds2000,

Thank you for sharing your experience with other travellers.
All the team here aim to create an atmosphere and feeling of home and relaxation – so to read your feedback is very rewarding for us.
Our hotel is indeed a short walk to Euston tube station and King’s Cross/ St Pancras right across the hotel. We are surrounded by shops and great eateries and many of London’s top sights are within short walking distance to our hotel.
Please accept my apologies if there was any inconvenience caused, and we can only hope that you choose Megaro next time you stay in London, and do not forget to collect your -10% voucher off dinner at Karpo Restaurant at reception.
Best regards,

Deyse Miguel

We stayed in the Executive Family Room, and were extremely pleased with the layout, size and amenities, Our room had a queen bed, and two twin beds (Murphy beds) that pulled down from the wall. There were also two chairs and a table as well as a coffee/tea bar, iron, fridge, etc. The windows were double panes which kept the street noise to a minimal level. We were in awe of the room size, considering most rooms in London are so small. We felt like we were in our own flat! The room rate was reasonable, and we loved being across the street from the Kings Cross, as we got everywhere we wanted to go with ease. There were also some very decent restaurants nearby. The hotel restaurant was great for breakfast, though a bit pricey. The only negative was the wood surround on the shower/tub. The bathroom wood floor had "give" so when you walked the slats move, probably from water getting under the wood. The tub area is surrounded by wood, so after a while we would notice the mildew/mold smell in the bathroom. It wasn't awful, but noticeable. I had seen that complaint from other reviewers, so had a heads up - sure enough - we got the same room - not sure if other rooms have the same problem. If they would rip out that wood and put in tile, it would solve all issues, because honestly, other than that, the room was great. The staff was young, and very friendly and helpful with directions and fun to talk to. We would definitely stay again.

My wife and I stayed at the Megaro hotel for one night prior to traveling to France by Eurostar. The hotel is perfectly situated very near St. Pancras station, literally just across the Euston Rd.
The room we had was perfectly clean, modern and well-appointed. The complimentary water in the refrigerated mini bar was a nice touch. However, here's the but, the mattress on the bed was very soft. Not old and worn out, just soft! If you have any sort of back problem (I have) the mattresses here will remind you of it in very short order. We questioned the staff (who were very helpful, friendly and efficient) regarding alternative beds in other rooms. They said they would ask 'housekeeping' which they did and were told that all the beds were the same. Okay for one night but more might have been a problem! Also the kettle provided for tea and coffee making didn't work! Breakfast, albeit at an extra cost was very good!

The Megaro is like a best-kept secret that perhaps I shouldn't share but here goes... Last year it provided accommodations for my sister, mother and I visiting from the States. Prices were reasonable, and the proximity to both the St. Pancras and Kings Cross stations was so convenient. We could go anywhere and get back quickly. The room we shared was spacious w/ a scenic view of the stations that our "mum" especially enjoyed. The adjacent restaurant is good for a quick breakfast. In fact, my sisters and I have made reservations to return there again this summer.

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side offer a bird's-eye view of St. Pancras and Kings Cross stations.

We stayed at Megaro Hotel one night, in the standard room, as we were catching the Eurostar early next morning. The hotel is perfectly located for St Pancras International, less than 100m away. The hotel had everything we needed for one night. It is modern and clean, with helpful staff. The price was also great for this standard of hotel in London, it was 120GBP/$214AUD for one night. The hotel also stands out when looking for it, as it is brightly painted in various colours.
