“Welcoming Stay”

Very friendly staff at reception on arrival. Rooms very clean and well maintained and despite being in central London very little noise. I ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Restricted menu but still enough choice.

Good overnight location for the Eurostar - one stop one the tube or a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel to the station. Staff were very welcoming on arrival and check in was just a few minutes, including recommendations on local restaurants to eat, as we were looking for something special, but there is a restaurant on site.

Rooms have recently been refurbished and were a fair size for a London hotel room, no noise heard from the corridor or other rooms overnight. Breakfast was served from 0700 hours, with a good choice of options but the coffee was not the best but drinkable.

We booked 3 nights some months in advance (around £70 a night) and loved the location when we got off our train at Euston and found it (after not quite seeing where to go because of the crowds of people in the tube strike day). We asked for and got a quiet room on the ground floor which had no view but that did not bother us. Usual new Travelodge comfortable bed and all you need in a smallish room. Good shower etc. Breakfast downstairs was excellent and worth what we paid for - cereal, fruit, juice, yoghurt, toast, tea/coffee, cooked breakfast. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. The location makes it very easy to get anywhere in London by walking, tube or bus etc. There is no laundromat close by here - the only one we found was mostly a dry-cleaning place and they were expensive when they agreed to do our washing but that is not the hotel's fault. Would be very happy to stay here again.

good location for London Euston and Underground and also Kings Cross Underground and St Pancras Eurostar stations - a few pubs and restaurants nearby and also local shops and M&S shop. Although there is nowhere at the travelodge to leave luggage you are able to leave luggage at Euston station so no need to carry it around.

Stayed 4 nights while on a training course. Small comfortable room with a kingsized bed on the quiet side of the building. No window. Breakfast in the basement was ok and they do basic pub style meals in the evening at a reasonable price if you want something more there are plenty of places to eat, least of all Euston station. You can get drinks there as well. It has all the basics and the staff were really helpful. Much better than my last TL experience. Cost of wi-fi is expensive, TL should make this service free and monetarise it in other ways.

This is a very nice hotel for the money you pay, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and we found them to be clean with very comfortable beds. We stayed as a large party in April and booked 6 rooms, all rooms were ready when we arrived and the receptionist handed over all of the door cards, we found that 2 rooms only had one bed but we had booked family rooms, this was rectified immediately with a room change.

The hotel is well placed right outside Euston Station which makes getting around London very easy from here by underground/buses/taxi’s and the staff are very polite and helpful. There is no where safe to leave your bags on the last day, we were told that we could leave the bags in the staff room but this would be at our own risk so we held one of our rooms until 4pm for £10 which was great value for 14 of us.

If I had to pick some faults - the breakfast room is small so if it’s busy you may find it difficult to find a table, the rooms at the front of the hotel can be affected by the noise from the traffic but all in all a very nice stay.

Room Tip: ask for a quiet room at the back, we had one at the front and this is the only reason I marked down...

We stayed in the Euston [London] Travelodge for 5 nights from 2nd - 7th May '14. The recently refurbished hotel was excellent, with bright rooms,
comfortable bed, good breakfast and helpful staff, particularly Aurelia. It
also had tea and coffee-making facilities. The hotel was well located [five minutes from Euston and ten minutes from Kings Cross/St Pancras] for public transport and within walking distance of many tourist sites. I have stated in many Travelodges and the improved standard of facilities at Euston is I hope an indication of how this budget chain is upping its game. My only criticism is a minor one - no Radio 4!

I would definitely recommend it.

Room Tip: We had a room on the third floor - very quiet
