We usually stay at Premier Inns (Which we always love), but because Travelodge was cheaper we decided to give it a go. A great location opposite Euston Station and the rooms were bright and colourful. Although, there was not much in the rooms and my bed was rock hard. There was only Tetley tea, not like the Twinings you get at Premier Inn, and the bathroom only had bar soap, at premier inn it is Anti - Bacterial liquid soap. Certainly didn't have the same smell and feel as a Premier Inn. Breakfast was bad as well, not the same vast choice as a Premier Inn one. No hash browns or selection of fruit juices. Overall, not good breakfast, reasonable value for money(Although Premier Inn was cheaper the last time I checked), great location, modern rooms, staff friendly and happy to help

Room Tip: Basement rooms are a LOT quieter, higher rooms let more natural light in though

This hotel is in an ideal location for visiting london. The family room was a good size, air conditioning was working...thankfully it was very warm. The only problem we had in the room was the folding bed my daughter was on, during the night she fell out of bed and the bed tipped over and landed on top of leaving her with a rather sore back.

Wasn't great, wasn't terrible. Bit expensive though, but that's London for you. The rooms were clean and comfortable. but the hotel was extremely under staffed. think I only saw around 5 members of staff the whole time I was there. Had to do a lot of waiting around in reception areas etc. The breakfast is bloody awful though. Just go out the hotel and walk towards the strand. There's a pub on the way (I think the name had shakespeare in there somewhere) that served a great breakfast with a drink for around 3 or 4 pound. In it's defence, the location is pretty good. It's opposite Euston Station, which is convenient, and you can walk to many major attractions or take the tube in a very short amount of time.

Room Tip: We were street side. got sirens all night. If possible try and get a room facing away from the stree...

The hotel served our one night stay. This is a budget hotel so you can't expect too much. Kids up to 16 stay and eat for free so that's a bonus. Our only dissapointments were that in one of the bathrooms I had a puddle of watr. It seems like the cleaner did not wipe the floor properly when cleaning the room beforenwe checked in. And we were disappointed with the number of choices available on the dinner menu. But the staff amde up for this by serving us a complimentary platter before serving our meal.

Stayed twice on the way to and back from Avignon on Eurostar. We were rather nervous as to the likely quality of a budget hotel of this price in central London. However the room and the service provided far exceeded our expectations. The staff were outstanding and incredibly helpful - making sure that we had a quiet bedroom on both occasions. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable with air conditioning. An ideal place to stay on a short trip to London

Room Tip: Ask for a bedroom away from Euston station

First time staying here...thought it was great value for money in London and perfect for Euston station and St Prancras station. Reception great and friendly staff and our room was brilliant and clean - all you need is there. Love the red, blue and white decor :) Cafe pretty good too. I'd def stay again

Reception staff very helpful and friendly, but the reception area was a bit too basic. Rooms small but functional, clean and beds very comfortable. Bathroom clean and tidy. However I had a very noisy air con unit which had to be switched off otherwise noise would have been unbearable for sleeping. And traffic noise on rooms facing Grafton Place (on first floor certainly) was terrible and did go on all night. If you can sleep through this sort of thing then it's fine, if not then the Euston Ibis is close and still budget chain, but on a much quieter street
