“meat and more meat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2013

We ate here after a closeby walk in Hyde Park and are we glad we did.The atmosphere is relaxing with a tight fit dining area.It looks right and the staff is buzzing about serving up sizzling platters of lamb and chicken, mine also came with kebab type thing(seasoned meat formed onto a skewer) My Lady had the chicken korma and was tender and tasty. The starter was great, something with curried prawns on tearable bread, very Indian. We found that unless your starving ,the starter was unnecessary. The naan is real deal,We will go back,as value, service, and taste cant be beat. This is a classic London Indian eatery, and the experience is part of the trip.If you want five star dining, spend more elsewhere.

“Amazing value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2013

This was an unexpected find. It's a quaint little, i.e. slightly cramp, but very pleasant little restaurant which offers amazing value. The food was very good, not outstanding, but is amazing value for money.

It was very busy, and is obviously very popular. It had a welcoming ambiance, and I would most definitely go back there.

“Good quality food at a very reasonable price!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2013

We decided to eat here last minute and chose it on the strength of the reviews. We booked the table 2 hours in advance and were glad we did as the restaurant was full!

Very good quality food and reasonably priced at around £5-7 per curry. Excellent menu selection and a good range of alcoholic drinks. Friendly and professional service. The food arrived quickly and was very tasty. One of the best Indian meals I have had in quite some time!

Very good Indian food in a well run and friendly restaurant. The price was excellent value for London. Service was prompt and helpful. Will certainly return. Can't fault it.
