“The quintessential pub”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

Great pies and a pretty good beer selection with a nice pub interior combine to make for a great pub experience. Service was a little slow since they were busy but very friendly.

“Worth a Visit”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

Stubbled across this pub after just getting into london. I didn't have anything but my partner ordered a pie and chips and what a meal! The pie was huge, the chips (which i ate) were great and all for a good price. The menu looked varied and if we had more time we would have gone back to try something else. The bar attendant was lovely and I suspect aussie as well. Good place to go for value.

“My favorite London pub for dinner....and Fullers beers!”
Reviewed 26 July 2014

Tons of pubs in London, of course...many choices even with a few blocks of here...I've written nice reviews of some....but I've eaten here 3 or 4 times over the years during Wimbledons and this is my favorite. Very nice place, good meat pies, and Fullers beers. The latter should not be underestimated in importance. I like Fullers products the best, and most pubs don't offer them.

Within sight of the Earls Court tube station, The Blackbird should be your choice for the experience of a traditional London pub dinner.

“Good food, great service”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

I had a late lunch so it was rather quiet. The food was good enough that I'd go back for another meal.
