Description: With Hyde Park right our doorstep, The Champion is perfectly placed for taking in the sights and sounds of leafy yet vibrant Notting Hill. Our mighty fine London pub is blessed with bags of character and charm, attracting regulars as deliciously diverse as our beer list. Soak up the atmosphere over an indulgent Sunday roast and a few friends, unwind with a pint in front of our open fire or discover our 'secret garden' downstairs.

Probably the closest thing we have to a local living in Central London, The Champion is a fantastic pub, with really nice staff and tasty food served in generous portions.

Great in both winter and summer thanks to its fire and outdoor seating (front - brilliant for people watching - and back), The Champion is simply chilled out, invitingly decorated and welcomes all, including dogs and babies.

Would thoroughly recommend for anything from a quick pint to lunch or dinner. Ideal location if you're visiting Kensington (Palace, Gardens, High Street) or Notting Hill.

1st Sam Smiths pub of recent trip to London, stained glass window pub, very rustic, traditional Olde pub, Very close to Oxford Street. Wasn't serving food at the time, but would probably have eaten there. Good service but a bit grubby looking. Good place to rest up and only 100m from another Sam Smith pub.

This is one of the best pubs I've ever been. The atmosphere is just as expected for a great London pub. The beer selection is fantastic - I love the draught beer with citrus flavor. It was just great. The sausages were also fine. I cannot wait for the next time I'm in London to visit this awesome place again.

Heartily recommend this great pub close to Notting Hill and Kensington Park.
Full of character, lots of room, and fab service. Food was good value: kids & adults happy!
Worth a visit.

A very nice typical English Pub. We had a nice pub meal and a good beer. It was also nice to see that on Sunday's they serve the traditional roast.
