Visited here late on Saturday evening after super meal in Mayfair when we on way back to hotel. Staff really didn't want anyone in, even though only 1040pm, the female member of staff tried to be friendly but her male (apparent supervisor) was miserable verging on rude. We follow the good pub guide, hence the visit but this should not be in, even as a lucky dip. One to avoid in the future for us!

Walking along Mill Bank one Sunday afternoon decided to pop in for a coffee. Atmosphere London pub with a good range of real ales.

Friends took us to this pub/restaurant, right by Vauxhall Bridge and over the road from MI5
Pub was espionage themed and we ate upstairs in the spying room! Mata Hari picture in the loo, memos and maps in the hallways, Great fun!
Lovely homemade burger and chips with wine to wash it down!
Could easily have got relaxed in the lovely atmosphere stayed all day but we were strong made ourselves leave to continue exploring the parliament area of London

After leaving Tate Modern at closing time, we didn't have much choice close by for something to eat. Food was edible, but both taste and presentation were not at the top end. Fish and chips was overcooked and too brown. However, the atmosphere's great for those who want a drink for happy hour.

We literally live around the corner, were feeling a little lazy, I wanted to take my partner out for a spot of Saturday lunch; it was raining and we didn't like the assorted pies menu the Tate Britain restaurant had on offer. So, we thought we'd chance some local fare which turned out to be a very bad decision and a total disappointment! yuk!!

My partner had a cheese and chutney 'ale' sandwich, which was like a Tesco packet one, and I had a Goats cheese salad; yuk! This consisted of a couple of old lettuce leaves, dressed in balsamic vinegar with a slab of goats cheese on top. Horrid! Needless to say, we won't be returning!!
