“not nice”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 May 2014

This place was 5 minutes from our hotel, we were under time pressure so decided to try it. Big mistake !!! strange place, stuck in a timewarp. No atmosphere at all, food almost thrown at us, unfriendly staff, horrible. The food was just about all right. Give it a miss, there are numerous eating places 100 times better in the surrounding area.

“Pleasant surprise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2014

We decided to give this restaurant a try whilst staying nearby and we weren't disappointed. We were given a friendly welcome, service was good and we didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive. The food was well presented, hot and tasty. The bill was reasonable compared to the usual Indian restaurant we visit when staying in Bloomsbury, we will return next time we visit London.

“Could try a Lot harder harder!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 November 2013

We were there on 18.11.13, very disappointing in just about every way. The other reviewers say it all really. The very worst part was the bowl of cheap tinned fruit cocktail slapped down for desert. And yes there are loads of great places in the same street. This place must only keep going because there are so many tourists around, you wouldn't go back!

“Don't waste your time and money!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 October 2013

One of the worst restaurant visits in a long time. 20 mins to get poppadums - inattentive staff, black daal was yellow and the food was not remotely authentic Indian.
