Would recommend Paul's near Covent Garden-even though they are being re-furbished .Super welcome-service-lovely food-Granola/pain/flute+ butter/jams.

This was the only disappointing experience me and a friend had on our 3 day stay in London. We went into Paul in Soho around 8pm and were seated in restaurant area while everything looked nice we found the flakey pastry rock hard and the pear custard flan tasteless and the custard looked more like scrambled egg! The waiter just wanted to finish his shift and wasn't pleasant at all! There was no quality control of the products still on sale at that time of the day, on the plus side the herbal camomile tea I had was very very good but you can't really go wrong with hot water and a herbal tea bag! We will never go to a Paul ever again! Shame we did not walk a bit further and go to Patiserie Valerie the cakes there in my opinion are very very good.

I went to Paul Patisserie in Soho after reading many reviews on TA about and I bought macaroons box. It cost about £9, which might be expensive but it was delicious and chewy.

We had breakfast at the Paul in Kensington every morning of our 10 day trip to London. The food and lattes were great. The staff were super polite and helpful. Thanks!

The prices are high and the quality is average. The shop looks nice both outside and in, but it doesn't seem to really be worth what you're paying for it.
