Visited Sushi Salsa with some friends and had a lovely evening. We decided to go for the Sushi Buffet which is currently is £18 per a person.

We arrived at the restaurant on an empty stomach and left with a stomach full (uncomfortably full but that's our fault for being too greedy).

For the buffet option you receive two pieces of paper, one with a list of about 10 different sushi and sashimi options. You can order five different dishes at a time and you can repeat the process five times within a hour and a half, so efficiently a max of 25 dishes if you can handle that much! The rule is that you have to finish the plate each time before ordering more to eliminate food waste.

The other piece of paper included a choice of around 12-15 options of different fried and cooked dishes, such as tempura, curries and chicken dishes. With this card you can only order up to 7 dishes but only once.

It probably sounds very complicated how I have explained it but I can assure you its not once you get there.

On the other hand you can go just go for dishes off the main menu which has a wide range and variety.

If I were to visit again I would probably just order off the menu as I ate too much last time as you feel obliged to eat more some how when you go for a buffet.

Another group of 4 people that were sharing a large table with us spent around the same amount per head as we did so buffet option isn't much cheaper the ordering straight off the menu.

It worked out to about £26 per head including drinks (5 drinks in total).

The restaurant managers and staff are very friendly and attentive.

I would recommend anyone to avoid this restaurant!! The staff were very annoying, kept asking you to make the order once you sat down, I have been asked 3 times in 5 minutes and they couldn't wait to take your bill once you have finished , they left you no chance for you to chat with your friends or stay one minutes longer once you have done with your meal, because your bill will place on the table automatically by the staff without you asking and there was actually no one waiting to have the table at that moment! The seats were very uncomfortable either, you were actually sitting on the floor with a cushion on it and your legs can be place on the gaps on the floor which makes it hard to sit down and go out ! Apparently the whole restaurant is run by Chinese people, the staffs were all speaking Mandarin and Cantonese and the food are all Chinese style Japanese food! Last but not least, the price are too high for this kind of food quality and service!! Very disappointed!!

We went there a couple of times. I dont know if we were unlucky both of the time or what but in this place there is the most rude staff in london. Both of the time some of us took the formula all you can eat with an annoied face on the waitress, And some ordered a la carte. The first time one of the guy who ordered a la carte he took one piece of sushi, i mean, one, from our all you can eat formula. The waitress came to us saying that a camera was watching us , the all you can eat formula cannot be share, " now you have to pay!!! You will pay all"!!!! I mean, waitress, stay calm. We were not trying to be smart, he was just tasting a little piece of sushi. Who want to go to a restaurant and be watched constantely by a camera?!? Second time my boyfriend ordered a weird name salmon dish... The waitress came to the table with a salmon dish, he have eaten all, only in the end a waiter came to us saying: " that dish it was not for you! It was for another table! Now you have to pay double! " always with a tono of voice not really peacefull. Honestly, the food and the place are great but after this treatment we never came back. I dont know you but i love food and i love to enjoy it and not be continuosly under control.

Unconfortable seats. Fried salmon was bad, spoiled. Tofu was soggy, watery. Calamari was hard, chewy. Edamame was really bland. The only edible thing was chicken. Tuna rolls were prepared with fried canned tuna, it was very salty and strangely crunchy. Overpriced. Won't recommend, won't go back again.
