attended the monty phyton reunion at the O2, which was a gem in its own merit. but I was really marveled by the venue: it's huge, and still you can watch and hear everything on stage - and not only because of the giant screens. amazing. the food is what you expect, not terrible, though. the clear out (by tube) was extremely fast. most impressive

The O2, home of Sky Sports has cinemas, food outlets, a SKY Sports studio to try out being a sports news anchor for a few minutes as well as games for the young and young at heart.
I took the Emirates Air Line from Royal Victoria DLR which gave a great view of the O2.
The O2 has a roof climb but didn't have time to do it.
To truly experience the O2, you'll need at least a couple hours up your sleeve.

We went to see a pro tennis match, good venue for tennis, very easy to get from the underground, lot of good restaurants, we get to eat pancakes at 2:00 a.m., Nice area.

A few of us Lumberjacks (and LumberJill) went to see Monty Python at the O2.
My last visit was to the Millennium Dome and it has since improved, staffing is better, seating is definitely better although could be improved and the entertainment is far superior.
There are oodles of places to eat and drink but do NOT get there too early as it is easily accessible with public transportation.

I climbed over the roof of The 02 and it was an amazing trip. The platform at the top gives views all around. Unfortunately it was raining heavily at the time but still a great thing to do!
