“Efficiency!”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

Visiting the O2 for the one but last Monty Python show we were amazed at the efficiency in which it runs. Finding our way in was a bit difficult having little signs towards the right entrance but once inside we loved the view, the show and especially the efficiency of leaving the venue. Within 15 minutes we were outside on our way to the underground which wasn't even full when we entered it! Great going! The shouting efficiency lady keeping us in line might have been somewhat more polite though. Lines for food and drinks were a bit long during the break so we opted for getting ours from the people serving in the audience.

“Amazing inside and out”
Reviewed 22 August 2014

Never having been here before we thought it was time we paid it a visit. The structure itself is iconic and a great landmark for London. Easy to get to either by tube or take The Clipper service which is fast, efficient and a different way to see another side of London. The inside of the arena is immense. We were just looking around after crossing on the Emirates Air Line and was surprised with the facilities on offer. A vast number of restaurants to suit all tastes, cinema complex, coffee shops etc. With the introduction of the new walk across the dome itself our visit was exciting and challenging and not planned. So much to do and explore in this area.

“great venue, unrivalled customer service inside the arena itself”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

Been to the O2 arena for a concert twice. The atmosphere is fantastic, alive and exciting.
Quite a challenging venue if you get seats up on the top tier if you aren't good on steep stairs or suffer from vertigo! My respect for those who get up there is immense!
The staff at the O2 are extremely helpful and polite. Each visit one of us has had a problem in getting to our prebooked seats- once still on crutches and another still in plaster and unable to climb stairs at all. We were advised on calling the O2 once we realised we would have problems accessing our allotted seats to visit customer services arriving early to head up the queue to get into the arena. Explaining our difficulty was met with courtesy and understanding and we were allocated sesats at the rear of a lower tier with no need to go up or down the stair aisles. We did notice a few people trying to get better seats but who were unable to do so as they were unable to demonstrate a valid reason for ticket exchange.
Food and drink outlets inside the arena are numerous and varies, and though pricey still represent reasonable value because of convenience.
Getting people out at the end of the concert runs smoothly though the queue for the lifts can be lengthy as they prioritise wheelchairs first. Mostly the place is orderly though a few people will always ruin this by drinking too much.

“Eat Early”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

Majority of restaurants in "The Avenue" don't accept bookings on event days, so arrive early to avoid disappointment, then go do something afterwards: Up at the O2, bowling, cinema, cable car nearby.

Went to see a live band in the Brooklyn Bowl there. Loads of restaurants, bars, shops and cinemas as well. Huge place. Used to be the Millenium Dome.
