“Nice pub hidden a bit in Mayfair”
Reviewed 20 May 2014

A very nice pub in Mayfair sort of hidden away on Farm Street, But well worth the walk to find it. Nice beer selection, good staff and quite good food as well. All in all, a good choice for a nicer level pub in Mayfair.

“Nice find. Nice character. Nice staff”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

A good find in such a busy area. Really relaxed feel with a nice buzz. Only had bar snacks but excellent quality food. Most obvious good point was nice friendly bar man (sometimes hard to find in London!)

“Excellent meal”
Reviewed 9 May 2014

we stayed at the Marriott Grosvenor Square hotel and we asked the concierge for a restaurant recommendation that was close by, had excellent food and was definitely British. Perfect choice on all 3 counts.
I had the 6 oz fillet (perfect) and my wife had the pork loin (also very good). Ambience and service were also excellent. The walk from the hotel was also interesting as you walk thru the very nice Grosvenor Park and then a few blocks of very upscale neighborhood.
You should try this restaurant if you are in the area.

“Lovely little pub in the middle of Mayfair!”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

Visited while staying in Mayfair at the weekend. We had heard of the pub before and always fancied trying it. Its a nice little pub, traditional. Had a nice atmosphere and was very busy in the restuarant part with food. We had a couple of drinks. Mine was a non alcholic mango drink and it was yum. My fiance tried the beer and was good. We shared a beef sandwich and chips which was nice but you only get half a sandwich and there was no garnish or anything. Restaurant food looked yummy though.
Would recommend for a nice drink in a traditional pub.

A fantastic pub in the heart of expensive Mayfair but so reasonable with a really good pub feel. Food terrific and fish and chips excellent. recommended. All meat and fish locally sourced and fresh. We will return
