This is very easy to find in Leicester square and is close to many restaurants. The acts were hilarious, with the warm up comedian one of the best. The show started with the warm up comedian and followed by three other comedians all with breaks in between the acts. This gave the chance to visit the bar located at the side. The only downside was that the drinks were very expensive even for London prices.
Overall this was a fantastically funny night and I would love to go again.

I booked tickets to this for my boyfriend during our stay in London and was not disappointed!
The comedy was outstanding! All of the acts including the host were beyond hilarious!
We were right on the front row so picked out quote a bit but it was so so funny!
Afterwards it turned into a really busy cool little bar/club that we stayed on in until 3am!
A bloody marvellous night had by us both! Thoroughly recommend!

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. It was a a brilliant night out and I laughed until there were tears rolling down my face. There is a bar and a big bathroom (no line to use the female toilet). This is a very reasonably priced, good night out in London. We are definitely going back again.

So I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday. We eventually located the place and when asking the door staff if we were at the right place he literally shrugged us off and treated us like we didn’t exist.
After a great comedy night watching 3 brilliant acts the same door staff guy tried to kick us out after we had purchased a £30 bottle of wine. He was rude and told us we didn’t drink fast enough. Rude!!
I know it’s not expensive however we paid to come and watch a good night and encouraged to buy more drinks during the intervals but didn’t expect the bar to shut as soon as the acts finish. But when it’s topped off with a bad and rude attitude from staff I get put out.
This is my second visit to the 99 Club but I won’t be returning because of the moody staff.

Having been dissapointed by the 99 club last time I visited in April at the Strand Palace it was brilliant to see how good this night was. Felt like a real
Comedy club set up as opposed to last time where it was more a conference room feel to it. Great line up of comedians including Ivo Graham, Paul Tomlinson and Marlon Davis- everyone donate their towels to him!. Cheap prices for Leicester Square for drinks and perfectly placed. Will definetly be back again.

As a lover of comedy, although having seen larger gigs, guildhalls, theatres etc, I'd only ever been to a few small gigs so was over the moon to be surprised with a visit to the 99 club for my 40th birthday.

I had no time to google it in advance so had no idea what to expect, but the minute we arrived I knew it would be good, the room was perfect, really intimate and we were blessed with having booked seats so ended up front and centre, I could use the stage as foot stool... this of course meant we were easy picking for the acts but that's all part of the fun. I can now proudly say I was picked on and served a, somewhat back handed, compliment by Jo Caulfield.

The PA system and sound were really good, so no trouble hearing the acts and the acts well, what can I say, I've always loved comedy and was a bit star struck to be honest seeing the list of performers on the books, for our gig we had Dane Baptiste, Jo Caulfield and Chris McCausland, all of whom I had heard on radio or seen on TV in things like Live at the Apollo. They did not disappoint, really funny sets from all of them and great audience interraction.

With a break between each act we had the chance to use the bar located in the lobby directly outside the room which was useful to ensure we didnt miss the start of each indiviudal set.

Final word must go to Erich McElroy the compere for the night who was brilliant, really engaged with the audience and kept us all at good level reay for each new act, very funny guy, depite having unneccesary letters in his Christian name...

If I had one critiscim (hence the 4 star rating) it would be the chairs, we were in there a good couple of hours and the seats were crammed in pretty tight per row, my friend is a broad shouldered guy and sat next to him we were pretty uncomfrotable, luckily after the first act the reserved seats next to us still weren't filled so we removed a chair and spaced them out.

I will definately be going back for more, funny bone well and truly tickled.

There’s a reason this place has won the best comedy club award numerous times!
Me and my boyfriend came for a date night and we had an amazing time!
The lineup was fantastic, we loved the MC who lead the night with a hilarious “American in the UK” Routine.
The bar was reasonably priced, booking was easy and finding seats together was no issue at all!
Will definitely be going back, thanks for a hilarious night out guys!
