Went to London basically for a show at the O2 but also to see the city. Comeon, how often are you in London? The hotel is so faar away from London that you have to take the train for about 15 minutes. This is something I knew but did not anticipate that it would be located that much of the grid. However, that is not the worst.

The hotel is right next to a 6 line road with traffic 24/7 so not much sleep here. The waterpressure in the so called shower makes it nearly impossible to take a shower under 30 minutes. The lovely stains on the ceiling and the dirty rug on the floor made me wash my laundry 2 times before even letting it in my house at home and lastly the "pub" is filled with junkies.

I wish a could tell you that the surroundings are nice but it most definately is not. There isn't even a decent fish n chips in charlton. For the same prize you will be able to get something closer to London and at a much higher standard.

Don't go here.

Stayed a couple of nights on business.

Ensuite room large and quiet. Has a shared kitchen facility too.

Good WiFi signal 2.5mbs download speed (tested)

Bus stop right outside, 177 runs into Greenwich and back until after midnight for DLR. Overground rail right outside into London bridge. 161 bus runs to Greenwich peninsula for jubilee line, one stop into canary wharf - 25-30 minutes to the office in docklands.

Room Tip: Some rooms have shared bathroom, be careful you understand what you book

Booked in for overnight after Monty Python at O2. It's over a old pub. Right near Charlton Train Station and well connected for buses. About 5 mins form O2 bus station. Great for what I needed.

Pleasant welcome and swiftly checked in. Room was very basic but there were clean sheets / towels, Comfy bed. TV, Sink, Kettle etc. and Wifi password.

Was quieter than I expected being next to a 24hr bus route (Thanks goodness).

It's like the paint; "does exactly what it says on the tin". No more, no less.

Wouldn't stay for a fortnight but definitely the place to get your head down on an overnight trip for an O2 show.

Thanks. :-)

You do get a private room with a key to lock the door. It is close to a train station with access to a variety of things in central London.

The biggest downside is that you have communal bathrooms. In the middle of the night you may have to trapse up or down two or three flights of stairs until you find one that's empty. The shower pressure was very low, and the water was cold. Cold showers!

It's an economical place to stay, but not one I'd try again.

Stayed here when seeing Dolly Parton at the O2. Really convenient for the venue and covered by a good bus service. Worth noting that from July, an oyster card or contactless credit/debit card will be required as buses won't accept cash. The hotel is above a pub which stays open until 1am on some nights but that didn't bother us, we were in there until closing time! Traffic is noisy at all hours which wasn't helped by the room being warm and us having the windows open (probably not an issue in cooler months). The beds were really comfortable and we had a good sleep. I think the only downside was having to go downstairs to the bathroom and how pathetic the shower was. Overall though, a pretty nice place with friendly staff.

Room was a state. Staines on the floor. Got told we have a private bathroom but that was a lie. Staff was rude. Would not stay there again even if I didn't have to pay anything. The shared facilities wasn't clean and the showers barely worked.

We stayed here on a Tuesday night to see Miley Cyrus at the o2. We got a coach from Southampton to London Victoria then we got tubes from Victoria to London bridge and then a train to Charlton train station. Our coach was £5 from Southampton n all in all our tubes and trains came to £9.40 each which is brilliant. We were greeted by a lovely man at reception who have us out room keys. Rooms were basic but what more do u want for £55 in a great location? The bus stop is opposite and £2.40 for bus to the o2 so we managed to skip the busy tubes and it only took less than 5 mins!! After the event, swarms of people crowded the tube station at the o2 and we just walked straight on to our bus. We skipped a lot of traffic too because of bus lanes so it probably took us about 20 mins. Overall I think this is a lovely hotel I will definitely stay here again when I visit for a concert at the o2 and probably next time I see a show at London Victoria as it's even a good hotel for visiting London as it's just a train ride away (£4.70) and very cheap for London as most places step the 100 pound mark!!!
