A very unexpected find - situated just at the edge of Leadnehall market (behind the back of Marks and Spencer on Gracechurch, if you're trying to find it), a colleague suggested it as a place for a breakfast meet. I loved it! Reminds me of a traditional Italian Cafe from the 60's that are still to be found dotted throughout the UK - unpretentious, unexpensive. We sat upsatirs inside, but there's plenty of covered seating outside in the lovely Leadenhall Market with heaters to keep you warm. Nice! Polite, friendly staff too.
Bacon sandwich and a great latte for less than £5 in the heart of the City? Perfect!
