This guest house is well kept. The rooms were very clean, the bathroom was modern and nicely packed into a small space. We had a triple room at the back of the house, which meant that we could keep the window open in the heat of the night, and were only vaguely disturbed by the rumbling of the train in the distance. The room had a kettle and coffee/tea, an iron and ironing board and a fan - a godsend given the temperature! Housekeeping was very efficient. The breakfast was surprisingly good for a guest house / B&B. A choice of different cereals and orange juice to start with, then a choice of continental (fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, croissant and toast) or English breakfast (bacon, eggs, sausages and toast). A good start to the day, delivered by a very cheerful lady.
There is free parking at the back of the hotel, which was great for us as we arrived by car.
The price was more than your average B&B in England, but then Wimbledon is also a high-bracket area, so not really surprising.
All in all a good experience, would stay again if in that part of town.More
