Those who fancy scientific fiction and fusion Asian food shall like this dinning experience at Inamo in the heart of Soho street, diners place orders by touching an interactive menu projected on their tables. Not only you can request the food and the drinks you like, but also  you may amend the ambience, check the order status and request a taxi.

Delicious food is provided from a nice waiters on time. Prices are set with a reasonable premium for such a concept

There are two sections in the resturant and the one decorated by bamboo is cosier and more spacious

We thought that this would just be a neat restaurant with a novel ordering system, but the food was quite good. The ordering system was perfect and the food came out to us within 5-10 minutes of ordering. The sashimi tuna and sashimi salmon were so good that we ordered them twice. And since you do not need a waiter to order food, it's incredibly easy to taste multiple dishes quickly without flagging someone down 4 times. Overall a little pricey but a great experience.

The place is quirky and gimmicky but don't let this turn you off as the food is of a very high quality, I was pleasantly surprised. Order the black cod large dish!
Even my parents who are in their 60s enjoyed playing pong whilst waiting.
Great for pre-theatre dining you can be in and out in 30 mins.

My 12 year old nephew absolutely loved the novelty of this place. He is hard to please and usually spends a lot of time on his computer these days so this was a great interactive, yet social event for him. Food was delicious - have the black cod and you will not be disappointed.

We have been to Inamo in Soho several times and have always enjoyed the food there. The menu is great, the selection very good, the cocktails excellent and the pricing very reasonable.

This place has a great atmosphere and the table projection idea brilliant and fun and creates a great ambience. To us, this is a great place to eat with the family, be sociable and enjoy a relaxed meal.

Inamo has that wow novelty value and the staff are always friendly and attentive and ordering your own food and drink at your own pace is an excellent idea. Both the food and drink is always swift to arrive and the quality has always remained consistently good on every visit we have ever made. The selections are excellent and the little plates great for sharing with family and friends. The desserts however, were very disappointing and I would have liked to have seen a few more sweet options.

There are not any kids’ options on the menu which can be a bit difficult but overall, this was once more a really good visit and meal and there were no complaints from me or mine.

The self ordering eliminates those “you got my order wrong” moments and each table can tot up that diner’s invoice separately so no getting out those phones to work out who owes what (never causes a problem with my lot though they are always happy to let mum and dad pay the lot!). Great idea! The only down side is that I feel that the tables are too close together so you do feel like you are practically dining with the stranger on the next table and conversation can be difficult without overhearing or being overheard.

Looking forward to many more return visits in the future and might even try the St James’s branch to see if it lives up to the same quality and standard.
