“Very disappointed”
Reviewed 21 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Other then being a great location the apartment was a big disappointment. There was trash around the front door when we first walked up..the entryway and the stairway smelled like the trash. The water heater didn't seem to work for the first two days. There was no shower curtain and the handle on the bathroom door was broken..door would not close.. the smoke detectors in the apartment chirped just about the whole time we were there. For the money you can do whole lt better..Do not recommended.

“Unit needs better beds and fans for warm weather.”
Reviewed 20 July 2017 for a stay in June 2017

The good:
great location
Near Ship Tavern (wonderful food, 60 types of gin)
decent amenities, washer works but no dryer

The bad
The owner failed to send details of unit, operations, etc and then left town and cold not be reached.
Building needs refurbishing on outside and stairs. Very bad first impression.
Owner failed to mention construction of building across street. NOISE!
Students from university, coming out of tavern were loud at 3am every night.
No fans in unit, very warn.
Beds had ill fitting mattress pad (latex?) that radiated head.
No top sheet, only a duvet. Too warm in unit to sleep with a duvet in summer.
Bathroom baseboard into the bathroom came loose!
Old building is not level (not owner's fault) All doors have door stops to keep them open.
The corner bedroom mattress is 5 inches less wide than the box spring. My husband's feet went over the edge of the bed too! Both bed mattresses seem to be very hot to sleep on. After 3 nights of restless, interrupted sleep, we moved to Marriott Hotel to get quiet sleep.
I don't know who owns the building but it needs it's hall carpet cleaned and dusted.

“Charming 2-bedroom apartment in Central London”
Reviewed 30 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

The location is very good as expected. But the apartment is too tight and cramp for 4 adults. The living room and the pull-out dining table can only accommodate 3 comfortably. There's only one toilet and it was quite a hassle queuing for it in the morning.
On the other hand, the apartment is clean and safe. We could leave the windows open at night. We just have to bear with the street noise till 11pm or so.

“Cosy and central”
Reviewed 8 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We had a lovely time staying in this apartment. Check in and out was really easy and the welcome pack was very informative. The apartment was smaller than it appeared in the pictures, so was a bit of a squeeze for six adults however it was still perfect for our needs. The location was very central, only a 5 minute stroll into Covent Garden and just a little further to Carnaby St. Regent St and Oxford Circus, making access to popular tourist attractions really easy. We did find that it was a little noisy early in the mornings and believe the previous occupants hadn't put their rubbish in the correct location, as on arrival their were bags on the doorstep, which ended up being ran over by a car, leaving garbage all over the road outside, and we also found some mugs and glasses had not been cleaned very well and the bin bags were far too small for the bin provided. These small points aside, the service we received from Cheryl and her team was fantastic, and if visiting London under similar circumstances would book this accommodation again!

“Average but not quite up to standards”
Reviewed 26 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

The location of this unit is advertised as Covent Garden, but is actually in Holborn, adjacent to Covent Garden. While technically the unit could sleep 6 people, it would be an incredibly tight fit. We had four adults and it was quite crowded. It is a third-level unit with narrow winding stairs that are a bit dingy. It was difficult to get luggage up to the unit. There was a building under construction across the alley, so it was noisy during the day and the adjacent pubs made it a bit noisy in the evenings. The bathroom needed a bit of an upgrade; the tub was chipped and there was visible mold on the ceiling. Amenities were sparse. There was only one coffee cup in the cupboards and only four thin bath towels provided for a week long stay.

On the positive side, the manager was responsive when we had no hot water the first day and evening. A repairman was sent the following day and a refund was provided for the first night's stay. She was also flexible with our check-in and check-out times. The apartment was secure, in a secure location, and near to a subway stop for easy transportation. Overall, the unit was average in most regards and not quite up to standards in a few.

“Excellent central location”
Reviewed 24 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

just spent weekend in this property. Fantastic location walking distance to London eye and theatre land. Property clean and tidy and has just about all you need for a stay. Owner responds to queries instantly and was very helpful. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend in to a friend.

“Very central and comfortable!”
Reviewed 6 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Excellent base for London sightseeing, so close to Covent Garden. Apartment has everything you need, beds are very comfortable. Rather noisy at night but this is to be expected in the area. Excellent host!
