Description: Avista, under the direction of the Executive Chef Arturo Granato, has been awarded 3 AA Rosettes by the prestigious AA Food Guide. Located in the heart of Mayfair and featuring its own private entrance at 39 Grosvenor Square, Avista is a 75 seat restaurant, with a separate bar for up to 25, and private dining room for 12. The main focus of Avista is the granite square upon which your chefs prepare the final touches to the dishes before your very eyes. Meanwhile, the interior has been brought to life by celebrated designer David d'Almada and sets the mood with a cool ambience making this location both light and spacious, whilst retaining a chic and "Mayfair" feel. Arturo has given the menu a contemporary twist since his arrival at Avista and changes his menus regularly to take advantage of the seasonal produce.

This was a beautiful experience and for my friend who is allergic to gluten to be able to enjoy the experience to the max, was amazing!

The staff were so accommodating and the food was super yummy!

The scones were to die for!

Very good Italian food, starting from home made bread to the rest. Dishes are well made, ingredients are good quality, service is OK. It is a real Italian. Environment is OK, maybe not super fancy but there is space for everyone, including families and it's also OK for business. Worth a try.

I visited this restaurant yesterday with 15 other business people. We had a lovely evening , the bar was small and comfortable to have a pre dinner drink. The Restuarant itself is airily , nicely decorated and comfortable. The menus had a nice range of dishes at prices that are good for this caliber of restaurant in London. The waiters were attentive without being intrusive. Nice evening thanks to all who made it so

I visited the Millennium Hotel with my mum to sample the afternoon tea menu. The staff were very friendly and the setting is bright and airy. The Assam tea was perfect and I love the little tea timer you are given to get the brew exactly how you like it. The cakes and sandwiches were all very tasty, and the menu changes seasonally - I loved the chicken and tarragon best. Everything is served in pretty Wedgwood china. All in all a lovely afternoon, and very reasonably priced compared to nearby hotels.

6 of us went for dinner on a week night. The first thing to note is this is a hotel's restaurant, and it does feel like one. The decor is bland. Reminiscent of the 80s. The Italian food is good. But service was very poor. There seems to be no waiters assigned to a particular table and we kept asking for the same things, be it water, someone to take our drinks order or the bill, time and time again. We also had a hilarious moment when 2 pepper grinders in a row failed to work. And we had to ask for pepper - it was not offered in this Italian restaurant. And it's an expensive place. Our dinner came to £75 / head. I was expecting so much more from the ambiance, food and service. There are terrific restaurants in London. This is not one of them.
