“Great little hotel”
Reviewed 26 July 2012

Stayed for pleasure and was very happy. Spotless throughout with modern comfortable rooms. Helpful staff. Rooms are average size for a London hotel. Great location in the middle of Earls Court but off a side street so a little less traffic noise. Well worth a visit.

The room was very small, but that was to be expected. It was very clean and the furniture looked brand new. And the air conditioning was welcomed. Breakfast was good and the staff helpful and friendly. I asked for a quiet room and got one. Slept like a baby. The location is good and there are plenty of cafés and restaurants near by. So yes, I'll be staying there again.

We recently stayed at The Boltons in Earl's Court and found that it was adequate, but nothing fancy. Our room was so small, we could not open our suitcases at the same time, but had to stack them double. The elevator is so small that only one person with a suitcase can go in at a time. But this is London, and we North Americans have to realize that everything is smaller!. The front desk people were excellent about storing our luggage when we arrived before our room was ready. The hotel is only about 1/2 block from the Earl's Court subway station which makes it super convenient. We took the Eurostar from Paris and it was only one tube train direct to the hotel and very little walking with the baggage. The breakfast provided by the hotel was really good and very plentiful. The room and bathroom were both modern. I would consider staying here again. We got one night free with points which made the overall bill a bit easier to handle

Travelling to London every month or so, this is one of the best hotels I use in London. Conveniently located (for me at least) on the Piccadilly line at Earl's Court it's a 45 minutes tube ride from Heathrow. State of the art modern rooms with fast cabled internet or wi-fi. English breakfast used to be included, now depends on the room rate. Only downturn is the single bed in the single rooms... most hotels offer a double or "1 and a half bed" even in the single rooms. Quiet environment and plenty of 24h shops and restaurants on Earl's Court. Sometimes overpriced but check for offers.

Room Tip: Corner rooms on the upper floors are larger and quiet.

We booked this hotel using our Avios (airmiles) points for a concert at Hammersmith hmv apollo & were certainly not disappointed. Although there wasn't parking facilities, we parked at Minories & got the tube straight to Earls Court & found the hotel just round the corner. We weren't able to get into our room until 2pm but the receptionist stored our luggage so we were able to return to the City centre to enjoy our day. Check in & check out was hassle free & easy. The room although quite small was more than adequate, very well appointed & clean & even though we were in the basement (lower ground floor) we had an opening window.
The tube ride to Hammersmith was only 2 stops & when returning we had the choice of 2 pubs between the hotel & tube station to visit. The one we chose was very friendly & busy - to be expected on a Saturday night. The bed was very comfortable so we both slept well & had tea & coffee meking facilities on hand.
The breakfast room was quite small but the choice & quality of the breakfast was very good (except the bacon).
All in all a great place to stay.

Although this was still more expensive than most places it was not as pricey as some hotels in the heart of London. A quick tube ride will get you into the heart of the city and the location is really not bad. The rooms are small, but this is expected in London. I would stay here again if needed.

After experiencing several London hotels in this price bracket The Boltons was a real joy. The welcome at reception was warm and genuine and the check in procedure quick and efficent. I was given a double room on the second floor. It wasn't huge but it was clean and had obviously recently been refurbished. The fittings were of good quality and the bathroom was clean and had the latest fittings including an excellent shower.

The decor was relaxing with plenty of wardrobe space and working areas. This hotel also had free Wi Fi. a contrast to the highly priced and often not particularly fast offerings in other establishments.

I was worried that the bed felt a little soft but, in the event, I slept well.

The hotel doesn't offer an evening meal but is only yards from a range of eating places and pubs so that's not really a problem. I will definitely stay here again.
