We found The London Agent very helpful to deal with and they provided us with useful information for our stay, good directions, local tips etc. The apartment is still new and shiny with a quality kitchen, which we sadly did not make good use of as we were too busy to cook. The apartment has the feel of an hotel as it is not cluttered with personal belongings and the building is very quiet. The neighbourhood is so nice! We would stay here again.
My family were very happy with the location of this apartment and we had a very happy time walking around seeing the sites. We all agreed that we could live in this neighbourhood given the chance and the finances!
Very quiet neighborhood, super convenient to St. James Park station. Easy walk to Thames and Parliament buildings. There are 4 pubs very close by, Sainsbury Local a 5 minute walk away, plus a great little Italian restaurant - Sapori- on Horseferry Road made yummy pasta dishes. Regency Cafe next door was an interesting spot for lunch.
Flat was sparkling clean and spacious enough for our family of 4. Plenty of space to hang clothes and store suitcases. Kitchen was equipped with the basics which was everything we needed. There is a clothes washer/dryer plus a large rack for air drying clothes. It was very hot the week we visited London and my only suggestion would be to have an additional fan so each bedroom could have its own fan at night.
Two sets of locked gates to get to the locked front door of the building added to the feeling of safety overall. We had a memorable stay in a wonderful city!
London pub across the road and a traditional 'greasy spoon' next door. "Sorted", as they say in London.
We really enjoyed the location of this apartment - it is peaceful and central and historic and convenient, all at the same time. There is something very authentic and real about this neighbourhood. Not sure what it is exactly but we felt very calm and relaxed here. Maybe because it is near the river and easy to walk along. There is also a cafe next door which is quite well known and a bit of an institution in the area and we enjoyed lunching with the locals - but watch your timing as there there can be long queues at busy times. This is the Regency Cafe. Overall this was a successful stay and we would return.
