Stayed a couple of times. Both times the rooms have been clean, the bed comfortable and the place quiet. What more do you want. The price is reasonable, better if you book in advance. Nice quiet bar, with a toilet that requires a keycard so no passers by can use them. Stayed on my own for a weekend and found it ideal for visiting Brick Lane and Petticoat Lane markets, just a ten minute walk from the hotel if you know your way around or have a map. There is a late opening tesco around the corner with a cash machine outside and also a Weatherspoons pub across the road. A three minute walk to the DLR, an extra minute to the Tower Hill tube. Bus stops aplenty around the corner and a pub that serves meals literally 20 seconds from the hotel door. It takes less than five minutes to walk to the Tower of London or Tower Bridge and the hotel is perfectly placed for transport to any part of London. I also stayed with friends for a weekend for football and we all found the hotel to be perfect for our needs. That we have all used the hotyel more than once tells you how much we like it.

Room Tip: Quietest rooms are on the front, third floor or above.

We stayed for one night in March. The hotel is easy to find and nicely located being close to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Exactly what I expected from a Travelodge - simple, tidy room, no frills. We had the breakfast, which was very good - well worth the extra £7. Staff were very friendly without being in your face. Our room overlooked the DLR, but you could hardly hear it due to the excellent double glazing.

This is our 3rd time here and we were delighted to see it had been recently refurbished. the mattress is the best I have ever slept on and I really wanted to bring it home. Cannot fault our stay and we will be returning here again.

We stayed for 2 nights, to take in a show in London. Reception staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. The manager Millie went out of her way to look after us during or stay. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a lack of storage space ie somewhere to put your tea shirts & underwear. there was also only 2 electrical sockets.
The all you can eat breakfast was very good value, with a good choice of food. The breakfast staff were helpful and friendly, Joyce was a great laugh. Tables were cleared away quickly.
Location - The hotel is about 5 - 10 mins walk from the Tower of London & Tower bridge. The nearest tube station is Tower Hill on the Circle line, 5 - 10 mins walk. There are regular buses into the City.
I would highly recommend this hotel for value for money/friendly helpful staff & location. We shall be returning again later this year.

We stayed over easter, first time in this hotel, we where on the 1st floor and at the back beside the railway but we didn't really hear any noise, just the odd low rumble, for the price it's everything you need when in London. Would defiantly use this hotel again.
