Travelodge London Central Tower Bridge

Excellent location! Excellent bed and clean if basic room. No problems and highly recommended as a cost effective yet comfortable hotel near to the Tower, three Tube/DLR options, and within easy access of all of the sights! There is a great lively pub next door too and a Tesco Metro and a Sainsburys local both within a three minute walk..

Excellent value in middle of London. Couldn't fault facilities or staff. No road noise , so close to tower and tube station. Breakfast and bar facilities very useful. Fantastic short break, thank you.

Stayed here for a theatre trip and it was great value for money. Clean and modern. Very comfy bed and slept like a log. Took advice and had a lovely cooked breakfast over the road in the Wetherspoons - bargain! Would definitely use again and the only negative was that the underground was closed for weekends due to works but that ain't Travelodge's fault :-)

The refurbishment has been well done and the beds are the great improvement. Slept really well on our four night stay. It is what it is but does it very well. Its basic, no frills accomodation. Shower only, one chair (a gripe of mine) but very clean, bright and a nice secure place to lay your head of a night. The location for city breaks is nigh on perfect. If its a basic break your after then you have a Weatherspoons for breakfast and The Minories Pub for Dinner and if all else fails you can eat in the Travelodge. The RV1 bus takes you to Covent Garden; the 15 to Trafalgar Square and if you want a lovely old historic pub then the 100 and the D3 will drop you off at the Prospect of Whitby on Wapping Wall. These busses are an ideal way of getting to know the City and of course for us mature students with Gold Cards FREE!!! Thanks Mr G Brown MP We had a great break and the staff were all really nice and helpful. We shall be back in September.

Room Tip: You have the choice of road or rail. We prefer the rail side on third or fourth floor as it is quiet...

Restful and comfortable one night stay on 5th may 2014. Helpful reception staff.clean room, and nice bathroom.
We did hear some conversations from surrounding rooms through the walls. Not the best sound proofing, but we still slept on till 9am !! so not complaining!
Excellent position for tower of London, tower bridge,st kaths dock etc, 5 mins walk to 3 local tube stations, anmd a wetherspoons right across the road !! perfect..

Spent four nights here on our annual visit to London. Ideally located for the Tower of London and other sites.
The room was very basic with no storage space for our belongings etc. The floor creaked badly in the passageway which meant you could hear everyone returning late at night. Breakfast was very basic, not in the same league as their Premier competitors, but acceptable.
