Travelodge London Central Tower Bridge

Good location particularly if you are visiting the sights - you ae a stones from from the Tower of London. Transport links are good - underground is a 10 min walk away. Ihad meetings in London and Bracknell and owing to the Farnbrough air show there were no rooms anywhere. And so I ended up here. Hotel is a standard travelodge - you get what you pay for. Staff were friendly enough but its all a bit basic and formulaic.

For me Travelodge in London is the hotel of last resort, but this one is better than most. Top of my list is getting a good night's sleep and the Tower Bridge Travelodge is great for that as it's so quiet. I was surprised how quiet given the location right next to the railway. Otherwise, just the usual Travelodge no-frills offering.

Just returned from a 4 night stay, this hotel is in a good location and handy for Tower Hill tube station. The only down side for us was no air con in the rooms apart from this the room was very comfortable for the price paid. We had breakfast which for us was ample although sometimes disorganised with having to wait for items being replenished. Overall I would recommend this hotel for the budget price compared with other hotels in London.

when entering the room there was mould growing on the bedroom walls and the walls where very damp. when i reported this to staff i was given a room on the 3rd floor which is not very helpful as i booked a disabled room on the ground floor !! The 3rd floor room was very hot with no aircon (the other reason for a ground floor room )

The hotel was clean, the bed comfortable and there was adequate room for our suitcases. The first room we had, the shower and sink were draining very slowly. They immediately changed our room to a new one. We paid under $100 which we felt for central London was very reasonable.

The location could not have been better. 5 minute walk to the Tower of London and many pubs and restaurants a short walk away. Tube stations a short walk away.

The WIFI was only free for thirty minutes a day. Not thirty minutes total use, thirty minutes from when you first log on. You would get about five minutes of internet, and then the WIFI would drop. It was terrible. Do not pay for the crappy connection. We paid for 24 hours’ worth, and were unable to use it in the evening, there was no signal.

We would definitely stay there again if we visit London again.

Room Tip: There is a small pub next to the hotel. Minorities. Stay away from the breakfast. It was almost i...

Really good place to stay if you want a cheap hotel for a few nights. We have stayed here several times and enjoyed it each time. Rooms very clean and a great breakfast.
The hotel is quite modern, there's a fee cafes and restaurants around the hotel area if you didn't want to eat there.
Also it's led than 5 mins to the tube and tower bridge. Would recommend.

Had a five day sightseeing stay. Fantastic location for being able to walk and access a buzzing night life after a day's sightseeing. Tube station really close as is tesco for essentials such as water etc. We walked down to Tower Bridge and Thames walkway each evening and watched open air theatre or sampled street food..or simply people watched!Hotel is basic but clean with a very comfy bed! Although very close to Tower Bridge there is no view. It is very hot in the rooms but a fan is provided. We just slept with the window open as we were exhausted after full days. We booked early so had a very good price for our stay. We would stay again.
