We trawled the internet looking for a place close to the venue we was visiting for my birthday.
I was beginning to give up hope untill i came accross 69 The Grove, i read the reviews and was impressed, i called kanley and had a good chat and explaned what we was looking for he was so helpfull & friendly.

From the moment we arrived Kanley made us all feel welcomed. the apartment was very clean and the kitchen was well equipted with everything we needed. his breakfasts were a treat that set us up for the day. when we requested an ironing board the day before the wedding one arrived within hours. we want to thank him for his generous hospitality and also for the lovely flowers he had placed in every one of our rooms on what was a very special and enjoyable weekend.

Having just moved to London I was a bit perplexed when my parents asked me to find them a place to stay whilst visiting. What a wonderful surprise it was to hear from one of our friends that there was a great place to stay only minutes from our flat! From the get-go Kanley was friendly and accomodating. We'll defitnitely keep recommending 69theGrove to anyone who visits us.

I stayed with Kanley and David for 3 nights in early September. They were kind and generous hosts. It was my first trip to London and they were both very helpful in providing directions and suggestions for things to do. My room was large, clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious, especially the fruit salad! Excellent value and conveniently located with easy access via the Tube to central London. I would definitely stay there again.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at Kanley and David's B&B for 12 days in total, and we also had the chance to stay in some other B&B's across the UK.
Well, this place worth 5 stars, that for sure. from the moment we've entered, Kanley treated us as if we're friends of his.
The room is nice with a comfort bed, and its clean just like home. It also contains a TV and a closet. In General from what I understand the rooms in Hotels in the UK aren't big- and so in here- the rooms arent huge, but for us- it was just the right size we needed.
The breakfast is big, and Kanley will even make fruit salad on certain days, which is more than wonderful! You can also have a cooked traditional english breakfast, but we prefered having some cherios cereal, toast, and fruit salad. There's also coffee, tea, and orange juice- pretty much all that you'd like to have.

The B&B is located just a 4 minute walk from Vauxhall tube station, which is on the Victoria line, and you can get anywhere you want to in about 10-15 minutes.
Also, there's a big Tesco and Sainsbury just a few streets from their place, so if you like us prefer to eat in home rather than in restaurants- you will have no trouble.
We were allowed to use the fridge and kitchen, so we could cook our own meals.

Bathroom- we used both the private one and the shared one (for a few days), and both were really really clean, never had to wait in order to use the shared ones.

As for the atmosphere in 69the grove- we immidiatly felt at home, and welcomed.
I would recommend this place to my friends- thats for sure.
If you search for a simple place to stay during your vacation in London, and what you seek is a clean place, with a good location, budget-wise, and to feel welcomed- this is the place for you. For me, it felt better than staying in a Hotel, since I got the chance to talk with other guests and with the owners- Kanley and David, which made our vacation even more intresting and unique.
