This West London flat has been tastefully renovated to a very high standard. Although small in size (compared to Australian apartments) it has everything you need to feel like you are at home. Karine's attention to detail is amazing and she is an outstanding and thoughtful host.
The downstairs has a full kitchen with oven, hotplates, DW, fridge, separate freezer but no microwave which isn't really needed with the extra appliances like toaster, coffee machine and sandwich press as well as the great range of cookware and baking dishes. The living room has the most amazingly comfortable couch/sofa which is great for relaxing after a long day. Then there is a small dining room with seating for 4 and through the french doors into a sweet courtyard patio garden. Upstairs you'll find 2 smaller bedrooms with comfortable queen size beds and the most amazing linen. The bathroom is also on this level.
The apartment is about 10mins walk from the Underground and you are on the blue Piccadilly line which is direct from Heathrow airport and then into the city - so transport is very convenient. There is a Co-op supermarket about 6 mins walk and just beyond the Underground you'll find a Sainsbury Local supermarket. There are plenty of great restaurants and pubs near by as well. A 15 min trip on the 65 bus takes you into Ealing Broadway where you'll find a larger shopping centre.
We would definitely recommend this flat. My husband and I stayed here with our adult daughter for 11 nights and were sad to leave.
The only thing I'd suggest to Karine is that she might need to get some pedestal fans as the flat does get very warm and some additional air movement would really help.
We will definitely come and visit your dream accommodation in France when you get this going so don't forget to email us the details.
