“Retro feel traditional casual restaurant”
Reviewed 8 June 2012 via mobile

We had brunch at the Fountain on Diamond Jubilee Monday. It was fairly quiet. The staff were wonderful
I had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. There was an extremely generous amount of outstanding smoked salmon and perfectly poached orange yolk eggs. My partner had their full English breakfast. Both were very well prepared and delicious. Their prices are on the high side but so is the quality. Highly recommended.

“VERY PLEASANT!”
Reviewed 1 June 2012

The staff were top quality - efficient, helpful and unobtrusive! The food was very nice - ballotine of rabbit to start, fish main (albeit rather a small portion for the price) and a blood orange parfait (for me) / Manuka honey creme caramel (for my wife!) dessert. Including pre-lunch drinks, bottle of wine, fizzy water, tea/coffee and service -£100 for two.

“Excellent Pre-show Choice”
Reviewed 20 May 2012

Ate lunch at this restaurant yesterday before visiting the theatre. The surroundings are delightful - light and airy - and the service and food good. We had the set lunch menu which at £22 for 2 courses and £28 for 3 is exceptional value for central London.

Highly recommended.
