“Functional”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

"Functional" is the best word I can use for this hotel. Clean enough and a very good location for Earls Court. However I was given a tiny tiny room (one of the smallest I have ever stayed in) and a microscopic bathroom to match. My room was overlooking the road and the sound-proofing was non existent. Consequently I did not sleep as easily as I would have liked. I would not stay here again unless I had no other option.

Stayed here for one night back in February when we went to Earls Court. handy location as it was only a short walk to it. First impression not good at all! The receptionist didn't even know where we could park. The room was too small and it was absolutely freezing at times. Got put right downstairs therefore could not even get signal on phone! Apart from that was okay but most likely would not stay here again.

The hotel is located around the corner from the Earls Court station. The hotel reception was very nice and checked me in already at 9 a.m.
The bathroom is even smaller then on a ferry. I would say it is a train bathroom mounted in the room. There is no ventilation. If two person have to take a shower, all heat goes into the room immediately. Room also is too small for two people - no even a table.
The breakfast is very poor. If you are there for several days: cruasan, toast, two slices of ham and cheese + jogurt & cornflakes make you fed up with that already on a second day. Coffee is very light. No warm meal.
If you come at the very opening of the breakfast - all staff is busy with eating themselves & drinking coffee. They serve you but that's it. No coffee refilling. They are busy with themselves. This is a first place where I see so openly staff eating when clients are full room.

Booked 3 nights at the Trebovir hotel. geneal first impression is that its been recently modernised and is in very good order. Breakfast is Continental but as much as you want and breakfast staff very pleasant and helpful. I have reservations though :-
1- Wifi service which is free is very poor
2, Why have a TV in your troom when you can hear the one in the next rom as clear as day, plus snoring coming from both rooms either side.
3, Hotel could' nt cope iwth two guest with the same surname and much time spent explaining my name is not Carl!!!.

Room Tip: Apart from the nosie from other rooms 2nd floor was OK

We wanted a cheap hotel close to central London, we got exactly this. The room was a cheap price which is what we wanted as we only spent the evening to sleep. 150meters away from Earls Court tube station. The only issue was the paper thin walls. If doing London on a budget I would defo recommend this hotel.

We'll to keep it short, the experience was far from stellar. Room was small, but what more does a lone traveler need? The bathroom is/was adequate but tiny. The key to room is on a huge drape tie back that had to be turned in whenever leaving.

The locale was really good with a very eclectic mix of cultures. Nice.

Now I must say that the shower had no curtain the first day and night. Small towels and no hand or face clothes. "Free" breakfast left everything to be desired.

Overall to expensive for what you get.

I stayed at the Trebovir for 2 nights in order to be close to Earl's Court. It is. That was the only good news. The initial experience of the reception staff was one of rudeness to the point of hostility - that was once I got them to come in from the step outside where they were smoking. The room is very small and the bathroom beyond belief. It was so tiny I had to stand side on to the shower! Being relatively cheap does not make this hotel good value. Seriously, find somewhere else.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else!
