We were looking forward to nice weekend away in London and to start it all off with a nice meal......
We visited on a Friday evening and the restaurant was very quiet, only 3 tables were in use. The service to begin with was ok. Food was well cooked but the proportions were terrible i.e. a decent portion of lamb with a couple of vegetables and a smear of mash potato. Service was non-exisitant after the main course even though there were 3 waiters on duty and only 3 tables to serve. The desert, bakewell tart, was served with custard in a pot that had just come out of the fridge. After 10 minutes of trying to gain a waiters attention to complain about this we decided to leave.
We certainly will not be returning and will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone. Although our weekend started on a bad note the rest of the time made up for this poor experience.
