“Discover Dogs”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2014

After going to crufts earlier in the year we went to discover dogs. The layout was great and easy for food and drink. The security outside the event were very friendly and helpful however i had my camera bag checked twice due to the size this was the only downside to the day.

“The France Show, Good Day Out for anyone who loves France.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 February 2014

The France Show is an annual event held at Earls Court Exhibition Centre, in January. With its many (150+) exhibitors, seminars and markets, you will easily be able to occupy 4-6 hours at the show without getting bored and discover much about France, the French and the culture.
There are many 'offers' which you can take advantage of also, from magazine subsciptions to Ferry deals. The French market is a great place to try a variety of foods, spices wines, etc. A really great day out on a cold, wet, English January day.
A couple of tips:
Book in advance (normally Nov/Dec)@ www.thefranceshow.com and you can get tickets for £5.00 each.
The Wine seminars are excellent value, £5.00 each ticket which includes 5-6 small glasses of wine to taste with bread and cheese.

“A very uninspiring place”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 January 2014

I went to a few exhibitions and concerts at Earl's Court. Well, it's completely uninspiring, old, soulless. The staff is indifferent too, neither good nor bad. Ditto for the bars, etc...
It's not anymore a good place for concerts: not comfortable, too old, cramped, even a bit scary when you look at all the corridors, stairs (you don't feel very secure if you had an emergency evacuation).
Time for the building to be dismantled.

“The French Show”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 January 2014

The French show was a very good, easy to walk around, and had lots of freebee's, but if you go looking for campsites in new area's , you will be disappointed as we were, but overall a good day out.
