The menu features great British favourites, using only top quality ingredients which are sourced as locally as possible. Small plates, sandwiches, salads and cheeses are on offer for those looking for a lighter snack. The Mug House is popular with foodies, wine buffs and beer lovers alike.

During our daily sightseeing tour, just before the London Bridge Experience we had a caffee here. It was really delicious.

... and I must notice that the toilet is clean and body lotion is provided. It tells everything about the Mug.

We absolutely loved it,a little gem by The Shard. We had an Aubergine dip to start that was so tasty but so full of garlic. Then I had calves liver (fantastic) and my partner had the slow cooked lamb ( equally fantastic). I had THE dearest glass of wine I've ever had, probably fuelled by having had cocktails up The Shard,at £12 ! Will be going back.

Directly opposite the London tomb entrance this little ale house served us orgasmicly good food! In the late saturday afternoon with a lot of space to have a break for lunch - kind service - good selection of beer, wine and ales, as well as different homemade small and main courses and desserts we choose a steak sandwich with caramalized onions and rocket and a steak burger with bacon and cheese, skinny fries and homemade tomato relish for 11 and 13 pounds. For dessert toffee pudding with clotted cream .... mjam.... It was really a task not to lick of the dishes :)
Nice authentic and comfy atmosphere beneath London Bridge - we will be back as soon as possible...

Excellent food, great wine and lovely service. A real hidden gem, we'll definitely be back. The squid on toast is scrummy!
