We stopped by for a pre theatre bite and were happy with burgers and chips. Feels authentic and tastes the same. Maybe the salads could do with a freshen up but really, who comes for the lettuce?

On the edge of Covent Garden/Holborn it is an oasis of calm with outside seating. A very good reasonably priced quick two course menu for under £13. A la carte plus another fixed price menu. It's directly opposite Freemasons Hall with it free museum.

Visited this place for the first time the other week, didn't really expect much however, came to realise how popular it really was with the locals/ tourists etc. The quality and quantity of the food was as expected for what you paid and the server was excellent!

Obviously a place for office parties and groups, we struggled to maintain a conversation over the noisy tables which occupied the majority of the restaurant. All conversation stopped when the food arrived - there were simply no words to describe it. Wet cod and chips, limp salad and possibly the most appalling hamburger ever presented on a plate! I opted for the "Wagyu" burger and at over £16 i was prepared to be impressed rather than shocked. Cookie-cut out "meat" patty which had not a whiff of Wagyu about it and on a oil soaked soggy bun. I should have guessed that no self-respecting "chef" would place a Kraft plastic cheese slice on this burger but I was wrong. A menu with little or no imagination was delivered with service to match. Just don't.

We have been going here for years now and NEVER had a disappointing time!

- The atmosphere is like a New York "family" restaurant which is great fun.
- Staff is very nice and attentive, you never wait for a thing and they know their jobs and the food.
- Everything on the menu is great but I go for the Kobe Burgers - just amazing! And they have the best onion rings in London.
- Huge American style portions so come hungry!
- Dont miss the puddings either - they are great as well.
- As well the barman knows his drinks, proper (and HUGE) Martinis are our favorite but they can make anything..
- Also the Loyalty card is a great value - we always use ours!

Book in advance on line as they get busy!
