Just spent 8 nights at Endsleigh Court. The room was decent sized. Very comfortable twin beds. Nice little kitchen, decent TV... Staff seemed pretty friendly.. As said in many previous reviews there are two drawbacks. The heat and the noise.. The room was extremely hot..We were warned about this when checked in. We were told that they could turn heat off but couldn't quite control turning on and off? Found that a tad strange. But nonetheless after 2 days had them turn off heat. They did provide us a fan. Even with heat off it was a bit stuffy. Which lead to the noise factor..We had a room on front of building. The noise outside was incredible. Seemed like 2 or 3 times an hour the ambulance or police were going by. I believe there is either a hospital or the ambulance headquarters right by. Also there always seemed to be noisy motorcycles or late night partyers etc going by. This is not the property's fault but it was a challenge.

Would definitely stay here again. would try to get a different location for room but was definitely satisfied. Great location for bus line and also the Tube on 2 different lines

For the last seven years we have always chosen to stay in Endsleigh Court when we travel to London from Tasmania to see our family. Beautifully renovated, self contained studio apartments complete with kitchen make you feel as if you have your very own bijou apartment in the heart of Bloomsbury.
With Waitrose just a two minute stroll in Russell Square to stock up on gourmet items and essentials, fabulous gardens in Georgian Squares, the British Museum and British Library at your finger tips and vibrant South Bank a ten minute bus ride away, Endsleigh is situated in a perfect location. The rooms are clean and quiet, particularly if you are at the back although we have had rooms at the front and enjoyed watching the street activity. It can be noisy, but what can one expect in the centre of a city.
Staff are friendly and helpful and unlike one reviewer I really appreciate the concierge staff who go out of their way to be so welcoming.
There is an old fashioned, quintessentially English charm about this place that makes you feel that you have entered another world which is genuinely London. We will be back in June this year.

Room Tip: Corner suites are quiet and spacious

If you like to travel independently, do not require the services and amenities of a regular hotel, enjoy things British, and value a great location, this is the place for you. If you want/expect a regular hotel, this is not. Endsleigh Court is a block of residential flats, some of which are occupied by long-term tenants or owners but some of which are rented out to short-term visitors. Each studio flat (and there are also some larger flats) has good sleeping and eating/working areas, a large bathroom, and a tiny kitchen (large-closet size) which nevertheless has everything you need for meal preparation. (I usually stick to microwave cooking, but there is both a stove top and an oven as well.) The flats are located 2 blocks from Euston station, about 4 blocks from King's Cross/St. Pancras stations and the British Library, and a short walk from the British Museum. The Piccadilly underground line runs through King's Cross (and the nearby Russell Square as well), and goes west all the way to Heathrow airport; and trains from Gatwick also stop near King's Cross. A direct bus line runs down to Aldwych and the river. There is a good middle-size grocery store at Euston station, a large one about 4 blocks south in the Brunswick Center, and also several small convenience stores, open long hours, in the immediate vicinity, along with pharmacies, pubs, restaurants, etc. (but look carefully at the posted restaurant menus before entering, as this is a district where many of the restaurants are overpriced tourist traps). The accommodation is more expensive than at a hotel at a comparable level, but you will more than save the difference if you prepare at least some of your own meals; and having a decent-sized table on which to work (as well as at which to eat) is a real boon for business travellers. There is a 24-hour reception desk, and good security; towels and bed linens are changed once a week; the flats are very quiet (rooms at the back are quieter than at the front only because of traffic on the street outside at the front). The room phones allow incoming calls, and calls within the flat block itself; but if you want to make outside calls you must arrange, when booking or upon arrival, for the room phone to be activated for these, and there will be an extra charge for this service. There is wi-fi; it used to be very slow, but has recently been upgraded (I have not tried it since the upgrade). If you intend to do much reading or working at the table, you should ask, when you book, for the use while you are there of one of the floor lamps which are kept in storage; there are bedside lights for reading in bed, as well as the main room overhead light(s), but working at the table requires, at least for me, a floor lamp. I always stay here when in London (and am frequently in London on business); but it is not for travellers who want a hotel with a restaurant, porters, a pool, tour booking services, etc.

We stayed here for 8 nights in October. The main issue was heating and noise. Too much of both. The central heating is on or off and if the weather is mild then inside is like a sauna. The staff are unable to turn it off or down. So you open the windows and let in the cooler air. But if you have a room facing Woburn Place you find out that the traffic noise is awful- and it is the route for all fire engine, ambulances and police en route to from London city- every 20 minutes day and night there are sirens. So you close the window and sweat. So try another month or get a back room. Their energy bill must be bad.

Room Tip: get a back room with lots of windows

My wife and I stayed here during a 10 day visit to London. We had one of the large studios (these cost more). The room was fine. We wanted to actually cook some of our meals so we had to ask the front desk for some additional pots and pans and they provided them with no problems. The location is very good. We often used Euston station for travel and picked up our supper at the Marks and Spenser's food market in the station on the way home after a day of sightseeing. . The front desk is staffed at all times and the entry door is locked when it starts getting dark.

I have hyst returned from another visit to London and almost a month in Endsleigh Court. The staff are always friendly and efficient. I was in 408, a delux studio. it is my favourite as it is a little larger and has a balcony. I do wish they would put a table and chairs on the balcony. I over looks lovely trees.
The room was clean and comfortable. I do enjoy the convection microwave and used it often.
Transportation is very good. Buses are close at hand as is the tube at Euston Station or Russell Square. Do get an Oyster Card as it will save you money.
Thanks EC for a great stay.

That you for your positive review.
I am working on getting some outdoor furniture for that flat at the moment. We hope to have some for you for next summer!

Many Thanks
