We had walked from Piccadilly in the rain, so by the time we got here we were tired, wet and thirsty. And we needed the toilet.

We tasted a couple of ales before choosing our tipple. Then we took a newspaper each and enjoyed the atmosphere, and a pint of good ale

We went early before seeing a film at the cinema over the road. The bar was heaving with after-work suited drinkers but the dining room relatively quiet. Very good service and the quality of the fish and beef was excellent. It was also seasoned and cooked beautifully. The burgers were uniformly pink throughout, so well rested, and the mackerel and sea bass were done to perfection. Black pudding croquettes a little dull but the home made potato gnocchi and the triple cooked chips were great. By-the-glass wines good. Interesting pudding menu (cornflake milk sorbet!) although burned honey and thyme ice was a little crystalline, had too much thyme in it and not enough honey. Overall though, very good. Price about right for quality and location.

This is a light and airy pub in London's fashionable Kings Road. It's roomy, nicely laid out and the staff are all very pleasant.

There is a good selection of real ales, Guinness, ciders and lagers. London prices, but not the most expensive by a long way.

The food menu is great. Burgers or fishcakes start around £15, other dishes cost more. The place has a reputation for good food. I would come back.

The Cadogan Arms is terrific. There is plenty of space in the bar area and a very good restaurant. The menu is carefully put together, with an interesting choice designed to appeal to any palate. Last night we had delicious pork with beautifully cooked vegetables.
The ginger sorbet was perfect.

There is a good selection of wines too.
This is a great place for an evening out with friends or family.

Visited early Sunday afternoon. A waiter came after a short while and took our food order, but not our drink, so we had to order them separately from the bar. The mussels were nice, as were the chunky chips. My OH loved his roast - especially the duck fat roast potatoes! Service could be improved but quality of the food was great.
